Oh and a note about timing too. The only day we DTD without a barrier method was on December 11th, ovulation day. So it really does only take one day and a lot of luck.

Uterus. What are you doing?! AF like cramps for hours now. Very convincing. You're so confusing, uterus. Why can't we be friends? Friends confide in eachother.

@MrsMccarthy: thank you! That's really interesting as your temps seem higher but they really do drop! If that was me I would totalythink AF was coming.

@holistic mama: you better be testing tomorrow!

@HolisticMama: that's a good sign! I've been having cramps on/off since Monday. That's been a good sign in the past but I can't remember if I had them last month when my cycle was so crazy.

I'm actually getting pretty hopeful (even though...what are the chances!? 1%, I guess...per the RE). The cramps are so convincing...and I'm still having CM which makes me run to the bathroom to see if AF has arrived. But when I consult with my cervix, it is just a slippery cloudy happy CM.

@HolisticMama: I heard that if you had low ovarian reserve it just makes IVF less successful not normal ttc. Do you have other issues? I am really hopeful for you too!

  7. HolisticMama

@Snowdrop: low sperm count and poor morphology.

  8. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Snowdrop: yup! And I've got a 16 month old to prove it! It ain't over till AF shows up for real!

@HolisticMama: I really hope you beat those odds lady! If not I know a girl with very high FSH who was able to conceive her first round of IVF and I think there are some on here too. You have options.

@FaithFertility: How many IUI cycles have you done? Do you use essential oils for headaches?

@FaithFertility: FX for you honey!!! I had bad headaches when I was pregnant.

I'm feeling a bit more encouraged after reading this because this is the type of cm I'm having WARNING: there is a picture so don't click this if you are faint of stomach http://howtogetpregnantfast.us/cervical-mucus-an-early-sign-of-pregnancy/

@FaithFertility: really hoping this is your cycle!!!

I'm really hoping that everyone is lucky on this cycle! Yay! Yay! Yay!

I use a mint essential oil to help carry headaches away. Sometimes it works. Other times it totally doesn't. I also try to make sure I'm not carrying any extra tension in my shoulders. So I will usually massage them with coconut oil.

Arch, I keep thinking I feel very very light cramps, then they go away and I wonder if I imagined them. Why do I symptom spot?!

  20. lioneyes

    persimmon / 1286 posts

Definitely felt cramping last night/today. Today is my 3rd day of positive OPKS, so I believe today is O day, which would explain it.

  21. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@Snowdrop: To better get to know your cycle? Or at least that's my excuse.

I had all of these beautiful symptoms yesterday and today? Almost nothing, except sore nipples. I had no idea how often I bump into my nipples in any given day (mostly reaching for things).

I feel out. But I'm also feeling pretty okay.

  23. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@HolisticMama: SORE NIPPLES! that is a really really good sign. if it's only the nipples especially. FX

  24. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@MrsMccarthy: Can you yell sore nipples again? ;0)

  25. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

    @HolisticMama: SORE NIPPLES! hahah

6DPO over here and feeling exhausted and so over the TWW. I am glad my hubs is gonna be able to distract me during the weekend. I hope

  26. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@MrsMccarthy: I had sore nipples (but then again I always have sore nipples in tww) but today they are disappearing by the minute, despite my constant checking (discretely...I hope).
It is worrying me that AF will turn up early.

@holistic mama: is that a new symptom for you?!

  27. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@Snowdrop: Yeah. I've never had sore nipples before. LOL. And as I mentioned- I'm just absolutely SHOCKED how often I accidentally brush against my nipples in any given day. LOL.

Sometimes I wonder if our nipples get sore because we keep pinching them. Haha. And I'm not even discreet.

I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamt that I had really really obvious implantation bleeding and then I flossed my teeth and the two front teeth bled like crazy.

I'm glad it was just a dream.

  29. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

I am also having to pee non stop. again, may be coincidental doesn't seem to be a UTI. time will tell.

  30. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Snowdrop: my sore nips kind of came and went and i was definitely pregnant. good luck!!!

  31. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@MrsMccarthy: yes, you certainly were! You are definitely helping with this symptom spotting!

Argh i'm actually hopeful for this cycle bu so scared of the crashing disappointment that usually accompanies that!

  32. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@Snowdrop: I actually talked to my therapist about this a couple of hours ago. Last cycle I didn't let myself get excited because I didn't want to get disappointed, but this cycle I have been so hopeful and it has been so enjoyable!

We spoke of the Emotional Freedom Technique and I am looking forward to trying it:
    http://www.strictly-stress-management.com/eft_technique.html

So if this isn't our cycle, I'm going to work on the affirmation:
"I accept myself wholly and completely, even though I am not pregnant."

  34. MrsMccarthy

@HolisticMama: ooh I like that. I feel like its okay to feel your feelings whatever they are. I don't think anything controls the outcome but happiness and positivity do feel better and can help overall health so I wouldn't discount it. I kind of give myself a bit of moping time and a bit of getting excited that way I can enjoy the range of drama hahahaha

Is anyone else obsessed with Fertility Friend chart comparing. I check all pregnancy charts like mine and I change their stats to match my timing and symptoms. In the end I wouldn't say that my actual pregnancy chart seemed at all hopeful or chalk full of signs but I was pregnant. It's kind of different for everyone in the beginning.

  35. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@MrsMccarthy: Oh yes, I would agree with that, as well. My acupuncturist always tell me that you have to yourself "space to feel whatever it is that you are feeling."

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@HolisticMama: hahahah I busted out laughing at your sore nipple comment DH totally called me out on that one he said maybe they feel sore because you grab them all the time and ask me to see of they are bigger......lo,

  37. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@HolisticMama: I think that is my exact issue I carry all stress and tension on my shoulders......poor DH ribs them all the time, def am trying the oils I need some relief

@Snowdrop: ahahahahah! I always try to discreetly feel mine too!

@HolisticMama: I am trying to get a good affirmation for this TWW so keep myself hopeful.

@Crystal: Any update on the positive affirmation?

I'm feeling pretty emotional this morning. Not bad emotionally, but emotional. I'm watching a show where a lady just got an IUI an it made me feel weepy. LOL.

    Hormones.

    Also. I found this. It delighted the inner hippie in me;
