I am thinking of trying these take n toss cups for milk for LO because she gets confused if I give her milk in her zoli cup. she only wants to drink water from the zoli. My question is, should I get the take and toss that comes with a straw or a spout. I heard these cups can be hard to clean and leak is this true?

we love take and toss cups! we've used both the straw and the sippy. in fact we're using the sippy now. i like them better because they don't leak.

We also love the Take and Toss variety and they have fun patterns too. The issue we have with the straw is that the straw is larger than the Zoli's, so DS sometimes will get too much milk in his mouth and then let it dribble all out. What a mess. But they are cheap and you can toss them when the straws get all chewed up (that's what happens in my house, anyway).

LO uses the Take and Toss for water sometimes! I have the sippy top and the straws and I prefer the sippy version because the straw leaks a lot for us.

our friends with older kids use the take and toss straw cups all the time.
since the straw they come with takes a lot of cleaning and gets chewed up. they just keep a box of cheap disposable straws on hand and use them with the cups!

We have the take and toss. They don't leak with normal use, but if your LO throws it on the floor, the top will come off and it will leak.
But, LO can successfully use the take and toss cups and since they are super cheap, we keep one in the diaper bag at all times.

Yeah I realized that the recommended age on the straw cup is 18months but the recommended age on the spout sippy is 9months so I bought a pack of the spouted cups. Hopefully she likes them
