Anyone have suggestions for stores that carry tall sizes but not big and tall for tops?
DH has a long torso and is also broad shouldered so most brands fit like crap on him. Usually the length hits just at waist, sleeves are too short etc.
I think jcpenney carries tall sizing for tops but that's the only one I know of. He really needs dress shirts, sweaters etc that fit properly for work.
And please no designer brands that cost $100 for a shirt.

My husband is tall and skinny and European brands fit well. Zara, Mexx, etc.
We also like Calvin Klein shirts. If you wait for sales and use coupons you can get them at Macy's for $40-60. CK also has a slim fit option.

My husband doesn't really buy clothing in stores because they never seem to have his size and the sleeves will be too short. He likes Banana Republic and Land's End but those can get pricey. You can try Men's Wearhouse, too.

Old navy online. That's where I buy my tall clothes and they have men's as well. Their big section and tall section are separate. Cheap with lots of sales!!

At least with women's tall sizing, the length is longer, shoulders broader, arm holes deeper, and sleeves longer. I assume it is the same for men.

@sunny: DH isn't "skinny". He's tall with a long torso, broad shoulders and muscular. So Zara, J Crew and BR, etc don't usually fit him right because they lean more towards the slim build.

DH has the same problem, but he's also a little big. He's always had problems getting shirts to fit - they're all so short! Surprisingly, even the Swedish brands are too short on him. We've had the best luck with US brands. He likes polo shirts, so nothing fancy.
His current favorite is from Costco by Cutter & Buck. His old favorite were Kirkland polo shirts, but the quality has really gone down! They no longer wash well and the fabric is nowhere as nice as it was a few years ago.
Old Navy also has a big & tall section. You can order just tall or just big. He likes those but some of the shirts are crazy long! Think cholo long!
A few rap star brands work too (I forget the name) that we found at Ross.

Bigmansland.com has a sizing options on their product's details page. They also have a sizing chart that has the measurements for that item.

Custom, for $50 a shirt!
I forget ther service my husband uses, but they're actually decent shirts.
