We've added a new name to our 'considering for a girl' list ... I like shorter names, but I think it looks better with 2 "L's" ... What do you think?
*Please, no negativity on the actual name ... We really like it, and don't want it spoiled*

I really like Tallulah! It was one that got axed by my husband when we were talking about names for our future children.

@Koolbreeze: Thank you! It's a name with Native American roots ... We were looking for names related to water or the ocean, and that one jumped out at us.

I never really thought about how the name was actually spelled. I like the single L because the name has consonant-vowel rhythm.

I think it works either way. I think two LL's is traditional, but I'd say go with your preference. It's a rare enough name that it doesn't matter.
Tallulah was my number one girl's name choice, but DH preferred another. I just LOVE it!

I like to take a lot of things into consideration when I think of names: how it sounds, how it looks, and if it looks like it sounds, and the popularity of the spelling (I tend to go with the most popular spelling). Tallulah wins in every aspect!

Thanks everyone!!! I shared this with DH last night, and he was like, "I wouldn't spell it like either of those!" ... Apparently, he doesn't like the "H". Back to square one, haha.

I would do Talullah, double L on the last L, it just looks better to me that way
