Next Friday we close on our old home, tomorrow we put in a backup offer on a house we really like...we NEEEEEEED this to work out! My mental health NEEDS THIS TO WORK OUT. I guess the seller isn't confident in the person w/the current offer and we can make this happen quick and at asking price...I'm going to be so sad if it doesn't work!!!

@T.H.O.U.: most contracts are binding for the seller and can only be terminated by getting a real estate lawyer involved. Messy business, not something to be taken lightly.
