I was so disappointed to hear that they were closing many of their stores here! But then again they really didn't stack up well to their US counterparts.
What things do you like to order from them?

@Autumnmama79: I had zero issues with the Canadian Target stores. I have never been to an American Target so I could never relate to the disappointment. There was a ton of stuff there I loved to buy (especially our milk, so cheap) and I was really sad to see them close down.
I have no idea what I'll buy from Target, but I have no doubt I will figure out something to put in my cart.

This is the best news! I was so sad when they closed, I lived Target. Went at least once a week, especially when I was on mat leave. Usually I didn't even need anything, I just went to wander around.

@erinbaderin: I did the same thing. It was easy to go there, grab a latte and walk around the store with L in his carrier. It was always quiet, which I loved, but obviously a big reason they closed, haha!.
I sent them an email a few months ago and they said that had no known plans to ship to Canada so this came as a bit of a shock. I know the shipping is outrageous, but if it were a group purchase it would definitely be worth it.

I miss Target everyday. I loved ours. It was always so quiet ( haha ) B could run around and blow off steam in the winter. They had the best Xmas clearance prices, and cute clothes for kids. I'm excited they ship to Canada now though!

Just curious, even with the CDN dollar where it is now you'll still shop from Target in the US?

@Autumnmama79: no way.
I was coming here to say, now to wait for the exchange rate to drop.

@Autumnmama79: Yea. I mean, I probably won't buy the whole store, but if I like their products... why wouldn't I still shop there?

@Autumnmama79: I just had a peek at the website and it lists everything in Canadian dollars. So if something was still a good deal in Canadian, I'd still order from there!

@.twist.: I guess just b/c the CDN dollar sucks and you'll be paying way more after the exchange rate and shipping?
I live close to the border and have relatively quick access to Seattle and surrounding areas. When the dollar was high, we would often go down for shopping sprees and overnight trips, but now, no way! Much better value for the dollar this side of the border.

@Autumnmama79: Yea, that doesn't really bother me. They show CDN prices so I can decide right off the bat whether or not I'm willing to pay the price +S&H.
