I had my first baby at 31 (she's 7 months old now). Not TTC but not trying to prevent it either.
Good luck!

We started TTC when I was 30.5, got pregnant when I was 31, and are scheduled to have baby #1 when I'm 31.
The 30's are a great time to be TTC! Good luck!

I'm 31 and trying for our first. My DH is 33 years old. If we're part of the 2012 baby class, I'll be 32 when I have my first.

We will be too. We're 30 and 34 and not TTC yet... still thinking about the logistics of it all, but it's definitely in the not-so-distant plans. I think it's a good time to have a baby

I am 34 and the hubs is 30. We are Ttc, and since last month wasn't successful I will definitely be over 35 when we start a family.

I was the same age as you when we started, MrsMcCarthy. My son was born when I was 35 and 4 months.

I was a month shy of 32 when we started trying (my husband was 40). It took us 7 months- the first four were NTNT and then we got more serious the last 3 months. I'll be 33 when the baby arrives. Good luck!

I'm pregnant, but I was 33 when we started TTC. We were lucky and didn't have to wait long for it to happen even though we're both in our 30's. I hope the same for all of you ladies in your 30's!

Started trying when I was 30, still trying at 31. Husband is 35. TTC baby #1.

We are going to start TTC the first of April. I turn 33 in Feb and DH 34 in Jan. He travels every week Mon-Thurs, so I have a feeling it is going to take us a while to get the timing right

I am 37 and DH is 35. We started TTC in Sept and just found out we are pregnant. Took us three cycles of trying! We were prepared for a much longer period of trying so we were both a bit shocked, but very excited. I am 5 weeks so it's still very early but it's good to know I can get pregnant!

We will start TTC in February. I am 36 and DH is 37. I hope I am as lucky as several of you ladies who got pregnant in your 30's!

Def. over 30! I am 40 and ttc LO #2. LO #1 is 6 months. In a perfect world I would prefer a bigger gap between babies but the clock is ticking! I got pregnant fairly quickly last time ( at 38) so don't stress ladies, the chance of getting pregnant over 35 it is not always as dire as you would read/hear.

@cupcakemama: thanks for the reassurance! I've been freaking myself out over coming off BC so late after being on them sooo long, and panicking about all my eggs being dried up.

I'm 30 and hubs is 31. Currently on my 1st TTC cycle...decided to do it right after I turned 30. If it happens this month, I'll still be 30 by the time the baby is born. Crossing fingers!

I'm 30, my husband is 27. We'll be TTC this summer (I'll be 31, he'll be 28). It is great to hear success stories from everyone!

@MrsLilybugg: Don"t freak out! 33 is not too old, you have time.
On a side note, I have a bunch of friends - all the same age as me ( same year at school) - who have had babies this year. In an ideal world we would have had them 10 years ago but sometimes things don't go to plan. Or you don't meet Mr Right til your late 30's.

I'm 30 and SO is 33 and just had Baby Bear. She's almost 3 months old. Just wanted to say good luck, this is a great time to TTC!

I turned 35 one month after our baby arrived. I think often that now I would like to have two children, but I do worry I about "advanced maternal age" - I think if we're going to try for a second baby we will do it in a year or so.

I just turned 38 and am about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant, so I'll be almost 39 by the time the baby is born! I sometimes wish we had started trying earlier, but this is definitely the right time in our relationship and our lives.

I'm 36 and just found out that I'm pregnant with our first (technically 2nd since we lost our first in an early m/c).

I had my first the day after I turned 35 and will start trying for a second sometime next year.

I am 31. So is DH. I am on CD1 of Cycle #6 TTC. It sucks.
I kind of wish there was an over-30 board, or a TTC 6 months and longer board somewhere on here or on WB. The 6 month mark for me, and for others I've heard from, is the cracking point.
Oh well, I digress.

I will be 32 in January. DH will be 32 in a couple of weeks. We have been TTC/NTNT since our wedding in Sept. This will be our first.

@Smurfette: Just make sure you get down to business on Sunday (or Monday morning) before he leaves. Sperm can live up to 5 days, so even if you ovulate on Thursday, you still have a chance. Good luck to you!
