I usually do Amex gift cards or cash. I know some of the teachers are struggling to make ends meet so I want to give them the most flexibility possible.

@Boogs: do you mean like grade school teacher? I think when she's in grade school I will still do a gift card. But add a small supply gift, whatever the classroom is lacking.

For thanksgiving I made pumpkin chocolate chip bread. For Christmas I got DD's teacher a Mo Williems canvas tote bag and I'll get a book or something for inside it.

LO's school has a strict no gifts policy and requests the kids make cards instead. The program also has an Amazon wish list so we may take a look at that too.

Last year I loooved his teacher, so she got a big gift. Personalized ll bean canvas tote, gift cards to target, Starbucks and Barnes and noble, a tin of Williams Sonoma peppermint bark and a personalized throw from west elm.
This year I like his teacher, but she's not nearly as awesome as last year, so I'll probably just do gifts cards. I have a good promo code for the bags again, so I'm deciding if I want to get her one. Both the teacher and assistant from last year use theirs daily to bring stuff to school. -
I am really struggling with holiday gift ideas for LO's teachers. She has six teachers (they spend equal amounts of time with her). I am thinking $20/teacher ... Am I overthinking this?
Should I just do a Chipotle gift card? We have tons of great coffee options in Portland, but aside from Starbucks, most places are just 1 location. One of my friends is gifting a reusable water bottle to each (great idea).
The internet is no help. Pinterest's suggestions for teacher's gifts is horrible! Ha.
