For those of who are/were team green, will you/did you bring two separate outfits to the hospital or did you bring a gender neutral outfit? I am trying to decide what to do (I have a ton of time) and my H thinks it's ridiculous to buy and wash two outfits when we'll only need one. Thanks!

We did this! Its soo soft and he looked so sweet! We figured if we had another they could have the same coming home outfit this way.

I just took something gender neutral. But I guess I didn't put too much thought into it, other than I wanted him to be warm enough. If a special outfit is important to you, I don't see anything wrong with buying two!

We're bringing a gender neutral outfit that we just love. It's from Baby Gap with little penguins and a cute little gray hat.

I had two outfits and I had my mom wash the girl one once she was born. It was pretty easy, there were a few other girl things I wanted washed in that first load after birth so my mom did that and then brought it up to the hospital the next day.

I picked out a girls outfit and DH picked out a boys to bring to the hospital. That day we went shopping was one of my favourite pregnancy moments! They weren't expensive (Carter's sleepers). DH announced it was a girl to our families by bringing the pink onesie to the waiting room.

I brought two outfits. The girl was mine as a baby so it was already washed. We returned the boy outfit since we didn't need it but my mum would've washed it for me if it was needed.

We brought a gender-neutral outfit, but to be honest if it had been a girl I would have sent D or MIL or SIL out to buy a frilly pink outfit, lol.

I brought a gender neutral outfit. She wore a navy and white stripped footed sleeper and a yellow cap. I generally prefer putting her in less girly stuff anyway...so, it didn't really occur to me to bring a "girl" outfit.

We did a neutral cream colored cable knit romper, but I think it's perfectly fine to bring two outfits if you want something gendered!

DD has this (from the boys' section) and I think it would be an adorable GN coming home outfit if you're due in the winter!

If you buy one outfit you can always buy a headband that "goes" so if you have a girl, you can "girl her up" a little without buying a whole outfit!

I had a newborn sized pajama, it was actually blue with monkeys on it. I figured it could work for either sex.

We did and are doing gender neutral stuff. I bought so much neutral stuff before LO #1 was born that we are good for awhile so may as well use it!

I brought a gender neutral yellow ducky outfit (summer baby).

We had an outfit for each but ended up spending time in the NICU so we just used an outfit that we were gifted.

@T.H.O.U: That's a really good idea especially considering we'll be in the hospital for at least a day or so.
@CHAR54: So cute! I bet my H would want to do something like that, too.
I think after only buying and getting gifted gender neutral outfits it will be fun to put him/her in something more specific! Although like @silva: I lean more toward gender neutral stuff anyway.

we had a gender neutral outfit, it was grey and white from target. gap has the "first favorites" and some very sweet white outfits that are gender neutral and super cute

We have gender neutral outfits for the baby so will probably use one of those as the coming home outfit.

I brought one boy outfit and one girl outfit. It was our first and we're planning on having at least 2 more and we would like to always be team green so I decided to get one of each and bring the same two outfits for all future LOs.

Found a gender neutral sleeper. I was too scared of trying to dress a baby to go for anything super fancy.

We weren't team green but the couple who had their baby minutes before us were (and DH graduated HS w/them and the mom worked for my mil, so we knew them) but they had a girl, we had a boy. They brought two separate outfits and gave us the boy outfit. It ended up being one of our favorites and felt so special that they thought of us!
