UGH LO is cutting at least one tooth on the top, I can see the white but it's not through yet. He just woke crying and I tried to give him teething tablets.... he now has the dexterity to pluck them back out of his mouth!! Wah!
Just venting. Hoping to try camilia in the morning but I don't want to give it to him for the first time at night!

Ugh! FWIW the tablets never worked for us, but the Camilia has been great!

@runsyellowlites: I honestly don't think the tablets do much for us either.. they just make ME feel better haha. If he's really miserable I'll give tylenol, but the last few days it's been bad enough to wake him but not bad enough that he is miserable after some snuggles. Fingers crossed the camilia is a safer middle ground that actually works!

@scg00387: Until last night, we had never given LO anything but Camilia for teething. She actually likes the Camilia - opens her mouth and sticks out her tongue for more after she swallows! I always kind of feel bad when we're done with one tube since I won't give her more. I'm scared of choking with the tablets. Good luck!

The tablets didn't work for us. Did you try dissolving the tablets in water and squirting the water in his mouth?

@shopaholic: they dissolve so fast and are so tiny I don't think it's possible for them to be a choking hazard honestly! @Smurfette: no that's a good idea though! We haven't use since he cut his first tooth many months ago and back then we jut shoved them in and he wasn't coordinated enough to pull out

@Smurfette: @scg00387: My Mom told me yesterday that dissolving them in water and then shaking them will actually increase the potency of the dose. Something that she learned in an intense homeopathy seminar she took years ago. Both the tabs and camilia seem to work for us. We also used to have a teething gel made by Hylands when she was littler that worked well, too.

@scg00387: I think it is a 1 tsp of water. Check the package but that is the only way I could them in R.

@scg00387: I can't remember if you give any bottles of BM, but I sometimes dissolve them in the bottle.

We put them in her mouth and kinda smeared them over her gums... but like others, I don't think the tablets did much but the camilia seemed to help!
