My 20 month old does sit on a toilet seat twice a day and she usually always pees right away so she knows what to do. She also poops in there anytime she needs to go. How do we get to the point where she doesn't wear diapers at all especially since she is at daycare all day

With my DS we stopped using diapers when he was consistently dry and asking to use the potty.
Let DCP know you are PT and they should have her try to go every few hours!

Have you talked to the daycare teachers? I know that the teachers in LOs class will work with potty training before 2 if your LO is ready.

We had a meeting with C's daycare teachers before we started potty training to 1.) make sure they were on board, 2.) explain how we would like to do this, and 3.) see what they were and weren't willing to do. They listened to our desires, were on board, and it was great. Yes, it took a little longer to be totally potty trained because they obviously didn't have one teacher dedicated solely to C but it was a good experience.

Daycare asked us to bring his potty chair and he used that for a few months before switching to the toilet.
For us, potty training went relatively quickly. DS was pee trained the first day and poop took about 2 weeks. So daycare really didn't have to do much real training, just deal with an occasional accident.
