Has this program turned your budget life around? Can it help prioritize and pay down debt? Is it intuitive or labor intensive like quicken?

Personally it hasn't been worth it for us but we stopped being deligent about using it. We got it when it was on sale for $20 so I
Don't feel too guilty. I know a lot of hellobee users like it though.

I just downloaded the free trial tonight. It seems a little labor intensive to me, but I've never budgeted before. It's hard to imagine myself keeping up with it, but I'm really going to try! Get the trial & see how you like it.

I think whatever you do, you just need to find some system that works for you and stick with it. For me, I have to remind myself that tools aren't a substitute for effort as for us, we use mint and are really happy with it.

If you are hard core budgeting, like you need to use it, and you have done to cheap way of using excel spreadsheets and free apps and software. You'll see that a program like YNAB can helpful. When money was super tight for us, YNAB was great for the 30 day free trial. I was just too cheap to spend the full amount. I ended up getting it at a discount on one of those flash deals. Unfortunately, I haven't installed it. Our finances got better so our need to budget isn't there. I know, we should really have a budget so we know where our money is going and to make sure we are adding to our savings. I'm kinda setting ourself for failure, if we something big happens to us financially. (I do know our monthly expenses and know we aren't spending more than we can afford, but I don't keep track of it every day.)
It's on my to-do list. Writing this post made me realize I really should get our budget together.
I would definitely try the free trial to see if you actually like using the program. You kinda have to figure out a way to best categorize your expenses. When I used it, I didn't quite find the best way. I got some suggestions here which I need to use when I set YNAB up again.

Love it. It's really helped us realize where our money is going. We went from pulling from our savings to make ends meet to putting some back in savings plus building up funds for future expenses, like Christmas, vacation, new tires, etc.

@Danizaur: Was that on the same income too? Where did you find yourselves being wasteful or able to cut back?
I do an excel sheet right now, but savings gets pulled as soon as the pay check hits the bank so we're forced, but even with the checking money, which we also use as a 'future/big purchase' "savings", we've been seeing it fall instead of grow lately. I know a lot of it is for the house, but I don't know how to cut back on that!

Yeah I had quicken and was shocked at how labor intensive it truly was so I've stopped using it. I bought it right after I discovered YNAB though so didn't want to drop more money even though in hindsight id wished is done YNAB. I took the classes or whatever and found the concept really intriguing.
I like the idea of budgeting every dollar I just didn't know how intuitive/labor intensive the software was?

I love YNAB. It has changed our approach to budgeting and kept us accountable to every dollar spent. I think we've had it for about two years now, and we haven't dropped the ball on it yet, but like someone mentioned above... the best budgeting tool will be one that you stick with!
It's worth looking through some of their free videos and read the articles they have on their website. Give the free trial a shot - nothing to lose!

@PurplePumps: yup. Same income. Eating out and frivolous purchases. We really had to cut back but we were living above our means.
