I have always been so-so when it came to my tooth care, and I have horrible genes so not so great teeth. Mr. Bee has super strong teeth genes and has never had a cavity.
Since we won't have dental care in the Philippines, we're really hardcore now! We bought sonicares (electric toothbrushes for the kids), will floss daily (haha), and use mouthwash twice a day. Same for the kids.
What is your daily toothcare regimen?

I just brush 2-3 times a day I really should floss...I got yelled at the last time at the dentist for not doing that often enough.

Brush 2x/day, floss once a day, mouthwash maybe 1-2x/week.
I've never had a cavity, either.

I owe my good dental health to my Sonicare! I've always had cavity-prone teeth, but ever since I got a Sonicare (7 or 8 years ago), I haven't had any new cavities (although, I've had to get old ones fixed). I brush at least twice a day with the Sonicare and floss at night. I should floss in the morning too, but get lazy.

Brush with sonicare (actually I think ours is Oral B, but basically same thing) 2x per day, "floss" with waterpik 1x per day, floss normally 1x per day. May seem extreme but I am cavity prone and haven't gotten one since I started this regimen.

Brush twice a day with a sonicare, maybe a third time after lunch with a regular brush at work if I need to and floss once a day. I don't use mouthwash. It's gross to me, but great for the fluoride benefits. Even brushing well, I still get calculus build up and need a cleaning at LEAST once a year. I scale my own teeth at home sometimes

I get my teeth professionally cleaned 4 times a year. I brush daily sometimes twice and sometimes with a rinse. The rinses we have in the house right now are too intense for me. I love Act and started using it when I had braces. I used Sonivare when I had braces and now I use angled, soft Oral-B toothbrushes and change them frequently.

I think as long as you're using a Sonicare and flossing once a day, you should be fine. Sonicare's are the best!
Oh, and I'm guessing you aren't going to be getting the benefits of flourinated water over there, so use a toothpaste with fluorine!

Sonicare so worth it too! My teeth had never been cleaner. I used to have cavities, build up, etc (well also b/c of my crooked teeth). But now I only brush twice a day, don't floss/do mouth wash and whenever I go to my cleanings the dr always say my teeth are so clean!

-I use an oral-b triumph (basically a sonicare)
-Prevident 5000 dry mouth prescription toothpaste before bed
-Sensodyne SLS-free tooth toothpaste in the AM, followed by ACT anticavity fluoride rinse
-Floss.
My teeth and/or saliva content changed after T, so I've had some issues with sticky plaque, despite great hygiene, and this is what my dentist recommended. It's sort of labor intensive.
Oh and I keep Colgate sensitive at work to brush if I need to!

Sonicares are the best!
I have pockets, so I see a periodontist regularly as well as my dentist. Here's my routine:
Morning: Brush, mouthwash with Listerine
Evening: Floss, Brush, mouthwash with Act
Also, I have a couple larger gaps between my teeth that floss doesn't work well with, so I have those floss brushes for those areas, which works really well. I definitely recommend if you have any areas that have more buildup than others like that.

I just brush twice a day, maybe 3 if I had something with onions or garlic for lunch. That's it. I've never had a cavity.

I went 9 years without ever seeing a dentist when I was in my 20s. No cavities. So much of this is the luck of genetics.
