I always handwrite mine as well. I love sending out cards!!! DH never helps either...unless I'm having trouble with wording, but even then he's not much help!

I always handwrite mine. And DH does not help (unless it's getting an address for someone he knows). I had almost 70 to do after my shower!

I hand write mine, also. DH doesn't help at all, except maybe to fund the stamps, lol.

I always hand write them, address them and mail them. I'll ask him for help stamping them.

For our wedding thankyou cards, I wrote those for my family & friends and made DH write any for his family & friends!

I handwrite them, and I make DH write them for gifts from his family/friends.

I always do it all, I think he might have done 10 for our wedding? I'm a crazy person and get them done right away!

I always write them. DH's handwriting is not legible. I also "cheated" and used my birth announcements as thank you cards which meant I had very little space to write much at all. Psychologically, that made them much easier to tackle... staring at a whole blank card freaks me out!

All handwritten by me. If the person is from DH's side of the family or if we know the person equally well, I sign it from both of us, but for a lot of shower gifts I just signed my name.

I use the 'Sincerely Ink' app on my iPhone. Honestly cannot tell you how this has saved me since having DS. You can make a customized thank you card with a photo on it. I use it to take a photo of DS with the gift. It sends the card via USPS directly from the app. And the cards are great quality.
I didn't use it for first birthday gifts or for shower gifts, just for the gifts that people would give here and there 'just because'.

For joint events, we divy up the list and he helps write some. I address them all though.

For our wedding and now baby gifts, he does a lot of the drafting of the notes on the computer, and then I handwrite them all. He hates the writing them out part, and I hate the thinking about what to say part, so it works out well!

I always handwrite, and DH signs his name. Depending on who it was from, we both write. For our wedding all of his guy friends he did, and some of his family. For our parents/grandparents/extra special people/wedding party we both wrote. We probably wrote too much.. it was like a novel in some of them but I think people appreciated it!

@adnama: it's a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I love that I can snap a photo, make a supercute card, write a personal message and send it all at once. I always forget stamps or need to find an address (it takes them from your contacts or can help find them if they're not there). And they get a photo of your LO with the item they sent. LOVE IT.

I hand write mine. If DH thinks I am taking too long to send them, he helps.
