@snowjewelz: very true. Chris is very easy going an it seems he has liked pretty much everyone thus far. I'd say it means something that he doesn't like JP! It makes me wonder if JP will have a presence at all like previous contestants..

About the "surprise", there was a spoiler that ABC offered to pay JP to propose tonight...so I'm guessing Chris was trying to get him to do it?

WOW. That was a train wreck.
What I thought happened was that JP told the producers he had told Nikki he loved her, and was going to say it on the show, but then when he saw how The Women Tell All went & how he was vilified, he decided to not give them what they want.
BUT... After reading what @spaniellove said, that makes a lot of sense. I bet he told them he would propose & totally played them. You could see when he came out & Chris asked what the surprise was, and he was like, "What? There's no surprise," Chris was just seething. He is one of the producers so he was in on any offers of cash.
I think JP is a huge douche but the show kind of stooped down to his level.

For the love of all things good, that was a train wreck. My favorite CH comment was the bit about "showering that one off" after one if the commercial breaks. So much yuck tonight. I think Andi will be good. I hope she doesn't act quite as insecure as she seemed for the earlier episodes; I like sassy, strong Andi much better.

Wow. Terrible. I liked seeing Clare freak out on JP. Everything she said was like she was on a Miss America pageant... She drove me NUTS!
I think JP and Nikki are broken up within a month. I think the only reason they are still together is because Nikki is young and dumb. DH said JP is like a politician, he won't give a straight answer to any question!
I'm not super excited about Andi, but I'm sure I'll watch

It would have been awesome if Claire walked out onto the set of After The Final Rose pregnant with Juan Pablo's baby.

I heard the reason he went on the show was to get a part on DWTS. That's why he kept saying all the comments about dancing. My guess is he gets back together with his baby's mama.

@Emsmems: who was your vote for bachelorette? I like Andi, I think she'll be good and I love that she's a real professional woman. It might bring a new edge to the show.
@Mrs. Blue: me too! I hope that with her "in control" she stays sassy and strong too. I think she will, she was talking about that in her video yesterday - it will be so different handing out the roses this time.
@littlek: I've heard those rumors too... but I'm starting to believe his family - that he may not be able to keep a relationship together because he runs at the first sign of trouble.

My DVR stopped right as he started talking to Nikki at the end. I was sooooooooooo pissed!! Hopefully the end and the after show will be On Demand tonight.

I just finished watching that train wreck (on DVR). Wow. I just have to say WOW. It was so awkward and uncomfortable to watch (After the Final Rose, especially). Nikki is....I don't even have words for her. And JP....geez....sleazy sleazy sleazy!!!
I think Chris Harrison was speechless too!

@littlek: lol, seriously! I do have to say, the whole season I was annoyed at Clare and in the finale I was like, "bravo!" And good for her for not wanting to hash it all out with him on the couch during ATFR. Although it would have been good TV.
I kinda wanted Chris Harrison to ask Nikki what she thought about the allegedly inappropriate thing that JP whispered to Clare in the helicopter...

@Ginabean3: I know! Who would've thought we would all end up loving Clare! I absolutely did not see that coming from her, seeing how she's been all season. I forced DH to watch with me and even he was like taken back by how much guts she had to just be like "No! Bye!"
I bet Sharleen was like, "Thank GOD I left!"

You can totally tell by their faces haha. I wish they talked to the 2nd row people too! I felt like they were there for no reason haha.

Just finished watching it. Wow that was indeed pretty bad. Juan Pablo finally took the worst bachelor title from jake pavelka. I think it would have been awesome if both girls dumped him at the end. that would truly be the most shocking episode in the bachelor history, as Chris Harrison would put it.

@irene: I thought Nikki would be better than that (being so so dumb!) but I guess Clare trumped her! I think JP knew he got Nikki in the bag even though he was more attracted to Clare. I really hope Nikki is the one that ends it and not JP!

@snowjewelz: I don't think he likes either women. He just looked very indifferent with both of them. He is really in love with himself. I bet his ex-wife was like finally everyone knew what I had been through! lol
And I feel very sad for Nikki. Snuggling up with someone who wouldn't tell her he loves her on national TV. I mean, for guys, usually they get super infatuated with the woman they fall for, and slowly dies down over the years. If he didn't even do that for Nikki even in the beginning of their relationship, that means there is really not much there. Poor girl.
And too bad he blew his chances for Dancing with the Stars apart from repeatedly saying how much he loved to dance the entire season.

I actually wouldn't care at all that they didn't get engaged and wouldn't say I love you if I felt like he was a genuine person and they they were truly trying to take it one step at a time. I think Nikki actually made a good point about so many couple saying how in love they were right after the show and then breaking up almost immediately thereafter. If I felt like they were good people who were truly trying to make this work in their own time, I think it would be the best ending in history because it would be more realistic. But . . . I think he's a expletive I can't type on my work computer and I don't buy anything he says. Nikki I think just has to try to save face as much as she can because she's with someone who so clearly is not in love with her or even in the process of falling in love with her.

@Mrs. Blue: Agreed; if it was a more normal couple, I say good for them that they don't get engaged right away and not even say "I love you" until they can really get to know each other off camera!
