While there are some that I don't agree with ("Your dog — who used to be your 'baby' — becomes just a dog." - my dog is still my baby too!), there are others that I think are completely true (You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.)

I have a few!
- When once your heart belonged only to your hubby, you realize that you do have more than enough space in your heart to love your hubby and your children equally.
- months of no sleep are totally worth it when your LO smiles up at you everytime you hold her!
- you don't care if your favourite outfit gets ruined with spit and drool

@sunshine44: SO true about the outfits! I think every shirt I owned when DS was little had a spit-up stain!

A big one for me is respecting my mom. Holy moly you don't realize what mom's go through until you're pregnant, go through childbirth, and then raise a baby!

@artbee: I have such a different appreciation for my parents after having DS then I ever have. My love for them grew after I had my own baby!
