Following on from the the "Things you didn't get when you were little" thread, what things did you have when you were little that you really want to get for your child(ren)?
I was a huge fan of board games. My three favourites were The Key to The Kingdom, Bewitched and Vampire. I have found all three on Ebay and fully intend to buy them for my LO! I can't wait for family time around the dining table!!
What so you have got hidden away or intend to replace so that your LO can enjoy them?

The Little House on the Prairie books! My grandmother gave me a set as a kid and I read them countless times. I want to find an original printing set for C like I had.

I've already bought my fave kids books for DD - they were Vlad the Drac series and The Worst Witch series. Oh and the Enid Blyton Faraway Tree series!

I'm mostly excited to share my old favorite books with her. I've saved almost all my childhood books and daydream about taking them out with her and reading to her from the pages I had read thirty - some years ago

My parents kept all my old books, Cabbage Patch Kids, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony and Care Bears so I'm looking forward to sharing those with M!

My dad made me a dollhouse for my seventh birthday. He spent weeks working on it in the shed after I went to sleep every night. I still have it at my parents' place and plan to repaint and decorate it when LO is older.

Definitely books and legos. I still love legos. I take LO (9 months) to the Lego store all the time to look at what we can build in the future
