My LO's been banging her head against everything lately 
Anyone have one of these?
Did you just let your kids bonk their heads and learn or protect their little noggins?

I never knew they had these! My LO used to bang her head against her crib and it was so scary. But I was googling and they say it is pretty normal behavior and they don't have enough strength to hurt themselves when they do this. So that made me feel better and then she grew out of banging her head.

We got one after we saw our friend had one for their very rambunctious son. But we never really used it. Their heads get hot really easily, and Charlie already has a sweaty head. We just let him bonk his head while learning to stand/cruise/walk and he did have lots of bumps, but I guess that's life.
Charlie went through a phase of hitting his head intentionally with his fists (more common in boys than girls), and that really used to freak me out but he grew out of it.
