LO has been a thumbsucker since around 9ish months. She usually only sucks her thumb when she is in her crib for bed/naptime and when she has her blankie. Her thumb is starting to get calloused, red and peeling. I know there is nothing I can do to stop her and nothing the Dr.'s can do. Thinking of covering it at night...suggestions?

Not there yet, but bumping and subbing! Maybe the mittens will work?

curious about others' thoughts. LO is 7.5 months and has sucked this thumb when falling asleep, but just this past weekend he started doing it at other times (not sure if he was tired or a little stressed or what). so i have a feeling we will be dealing with a similar issue in the near future.
