My sweet baby girl is already 8 days old, but I loved reading others birth stories, so I thought I'd share my relatively short and sweet birth story

I was scheduled for induction on April 24th, and 2 hours before we were to report to the hospital, my water broke! Contractions started almost immediately. We got to the hospital at 1 am, they started me on a low dose of pitocin at 4 am, and I caved and got the epidural at 5 ish. Started pushing at about 8 am, and baby was born at 9:47 am, weighing 8lbs 2 oz, and 20.5 in long. She's perfect!

One week in, and I'm loving it! She's sleeping and nursing well, and I'm recovering nicely ( 2nd degree internal lacerations with more stitches than I care to think about...)
