My 10-week-old daughter has little round lumps under both nipples. They feel round and hard like tiny marbles. I’ll be asking the doctor, but of course I discovered them today on a weekend. Anyone else’s baby have this?

Perfectly normal. It’s from your hormones. Some babies even lactate until things even out.

Yes, my older daughter had this under one nipple. I can’t remember what it was called but it was not anything to be concerned about. Caused by hormones from in the womb. Sorry I can’t remember more details but I wanted to chime in that it wasn’t concerning!

She still has them at 9 months. Still normal??!

@CatchAFallingStar: it might be. My daughter had it as a newborn and then they went away, but around 9/10 months she developed a slightly larger lump under one. My doctor said it was probably fine, but referred me to a pedatrician and by the time he saw us at 13 months it was gone. In my head I was worried that maybe she was going to start going through puberty or something. He did say it is very rare to see children exhibit any signs of that at a very young age.
So, I’d ask your doctor at your next appointment as long as there is no redness or discharge or anything.

@Mrs. Goose: They are small, moveable and the same on both sides with no signs of infection or anything. She has her 9 month well check on Friday. I will ask then. Thank you!
