As my LO gets older and more aware of her surroundings, she is HATING sleeping in new places. Our last vacation was just one night. We took all of her familiar things, including her little bath tub with all of her toys. But when it came time to take a bath you would have thought DH was going to dip her in acid, she clung onto him screaming for dear life. We gave her a quick sponge bath instead, let her calm down..... and then we had to put her down for the night.

Again we did the normal routine. I gave her milk, or tried anyway. She didn't want any, screamed the whole time because she was looking at her pack n play. I was able to get her to brush her teeth because we sang her "brush brush brush your teeth" song, but right when that was over she clung to me again screaming. I made DH put her down, I just couldn't do it.

Luckily she was so wiped out that the second he did put her down she fell asleep. I was terrified we'd get noise complaints in the hotel from her screaming all night long!

Any ideas on how to make it easier for LO to travel? I don't want to stop going places
