my oldest takes medicine like it's water so I'm at a loss..

is there a trick to this? I've tried a little at a time, all in the back of her mouth, putting pacifier in so she'll suck and swallow, etc. etc. she always gags and throws it back up. she is miserable from teething and I feel terrible, how do I get her to take this?!

I'm so afraid of putting it in an oz of milk (she takes a bottle) and then having her decide bottles suck or something..
