Without freaking out one's husband. I know all the physiological stuff and am either working on it or mastered it. Any tips on how to constructively channel the baby obsession?

I have a pinterest account and anything I want to buy for future baby, I made up a private wish list under Amazon and Babies-R-Us. This site, also, helps a lot.

Ditto the Pinterest account!
One thing DH and I are doing that is helping me a lot is we have made a list of things we want to do before we have a baby-- everything from dancing lessons to *ahem* things in the bedroom to trips we want to take and more. It gives us something to focus on before we are TTC and it helps the time to go by faster... it also helps DH because when we DO TTC he won't have the sense that he's giving anything up-- we'll have already done it all!
I also haunt HelloBee and the baby board of WeddingBee, as well as the TTC/pregnancy boards at TCOYF. These give me an outlet for my baby fever and I am learning a TON!

@bluestriped bee, how do you make a private list? does it count as a registry - so say in awhile, if people search the registry, will that list come up?

@SorryCharlie. On BRU and amazon, you can make a private wish list. Since it's private, only you can see it. It won't come up in searches. Later on, you can make it public. On BRU, I think you can transfer the items to your registry.

Yep, I've had a private Amazon wishlist for a while now. It's what I've been leaning on in my "Iwannababynow!" moments.

Haha, I have the private Amazon wishlists too. A couple of them actually, one for boy and one for girl.
