I am so NOT in tune with my body. 
I stopped BC on 6/26. Today I noticed a huge rubbery ball of mucus in my underwear. Could this be a sign that I will be getting AF soon?

@autumnlove: Did you already get your withdrawl bleed? It seems a little early for "real" AF, I think. Maybe you're about to O! Is it stretchy?

I have also read that cervical mucus goes crazy after stopping the pill, so it might just be random from all your hormones evening out. Or, you could be about to O, in which case AF would be here in about 2 weeks.
I started temping as soon as I went off the pill mostly to help me predict when AF would arrive, because I couldn't stand not knowing.

@JoJoGirl: I don't think I had any? I had heavy spotting the week before I ended my pack.
@Foodnerd81: ahh, good to know. I am not ready to TTC quite yet(maybe this fall) but I would like to learn more!

@autumnlove: We aren't TTC yet either-- definitely late summer/early fall. So for now we use what I learn from temping to assist in birth control, then we will apply the opposite to assist in conceiving

I thought CM was usually a sign that ovulation was coming.

Could be a sign of impending O, but usually it's just your body adjusting to being off the pill. Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? I found that book to be so fascinating for learning about CM, temping, etc! Even just to learn a little more about your body, it's so cool.
Don't worry, I wasn't at all in tune with my body. At all.

Currently reading TCOYF and while using FAM as birth control seems a bit overwhelming, I've enjoying learning more about my body.
