If you're comfortable with the wave of "advice", well-intentioned or not, I say go for it!
I opened up about our infertility issues after about 1.5 years of TTC, and many people either ignored it, or had kind words to say. There were a few that wouldn't leave me alone though, constantly sending me tips and tricks to try, or telling me to relax.

I hope you get only GOOD responses, and no unhelpful ones!

No. I would never post something like that on FB . . . but then again, I am someone who deleted her FB account . . . I just don't see FB as that kind of platform. The potential for things to go sideways is far greater than for it to go really well . . . because it's FB after all.

I think it's nice that you don't mind sharing what you are going through via FB, but def be aware of unsolicited comments from insensitive people, or for people to then constantly bring it up or ask you IRL!

I think it's great if you want to open up and try to reach out to people like that, but personally, I could never do that. To me, Facebook is too superficial and I'm much to private to open up like that. I've only told my best friend of my struggles, and only to say we've been trying a while. Not even my parents know.

I would post it, if you're comfortable with the well-intentioned but poorly thought out advice, and just the attention in general. I was open about our miscarriages and it really helped me to have other women talk about their experiences when they found out about mine.

It totally depends on what you're comfortable with. I've always been VERY open about our fertility journey and struggles, so I would post it myself. But, we also view our journey as a way to reach out to others going through similar trials. So, it depends how open you want to be. And unfortunately, PPs are right. You will probably get some unsolicited advice and stories, so you'd have to be open to that too.

If you feel comfortable, do it. I was so overwhelmed with all the support I got when I posted it on FB. I was so afraid on people saying the wrong thing but almost everyone was so supportive. I even got people to privately message me and tell me that they struggled too.

I posted about our IVF... eventually. My twins were 8 or so months old when I did. It took a lot for me to be willing to do it, but I just set my status so people who didn't need to see it, didn't. It helped a lot, and made me feel more empowered. I say go for it, simply because I've decided that there is too much stigma attached to infertility, and talking about it is a great way to get rid of that stigma.
