Thank you! LO loves them! I love to take them along as snacks, and she eats them for breakfast most days. We're now able to get some fruit in her!

Was it Mrs Tic Tac Toe from this post? http://www.hellobee.com/2013/01/26/a-sample-day-of-meals-for-our-little-ones/
I've yet to come across one that works well in a oven!

Mix equal parts liquid (I use fruit purées) and quick oats. Let sit a minute or two. Microwave for 2 minutes or so, let cool, cut and serve!
Note: 2 minutes is usually good in my microwave for 1/4 cup of oats. It took over 4 this morning for 1/2 cup.

@Weagle: do you think old fashioned quaker oats would work? It can be microwaved, I believe. Do you use fruit puree from a pouch? Or homemade?

@sorrycharlie: @Myicitygirl: I use Quaker. Not instant, but not totally old-fashioned. I use store-bought purees or applesauce. It's not time effective to make homemade purees anymore!

@sorrycharlie: At the grocery store (like at walmart) they have two kinds of quaker oats in big containers. One says rolled oats, the other says quick oats.

oooh thanks for sharing - I have been meaning to try these! LO likes pancake fingers where I sub in fruit purees for water (using whole wheat pancake mix), but I think she is getting bored of them and oatmeal fingers would be a nice texture change!

Thanks for sharing! I made these while E was napping and they were cool in time for us to have a snack outside. He went crazy over them! I used apple sauce for the liquid and a splash of milk and added in a dried berry mix before microwaving. I liked them a lot too!

I wish I could make these with baby oatmeal or rice cereal! We have so much of that stuff leftover and I don't want to toss it.
