My LO is 15 months, and tonight he gave me several high fives while nursing. Made me laugh!! He will also often unlatch, sign more/ say more! and relatch. So silly!

I nursed my LO till she was two. Loved reconnecting with her each time we sat down together. Even now, when she's been weaned for a good month, she will still smile every time she sees my boobs and give them a kiss

@scg00387: ha, my LO does the same thing with the popping off, signing milk and then latching again.
she's also been standing up and pushing off while nursing for a while. super funny. DH thinks she's a weirdo!

@birdofafeather: haha clearly you are more tolerant than I am -- he is curled up, in his sleep sack, on the boppy, in the chair and if he tries to wrestle me, it's shut down.

I'm going to be honest and say that today is one of those days where I struggle to find anything positive about toddlers, full stop...
Remind me to come back to this thread once I've had a decent nights sleep and I'm feeling more positive about life!

@scg00387: she keeps nursing the whole time she does it! she almost goes in a 90 degree angle with her back straight and bent at the waist with her legs straight!

@Kemma: I'm with you! My LO is nursing like a newborn very two hours and his teeth changed his latch. I'm tired and sore.
Okay I will admit I love watching my little guy sign milk and please. He signs both so vigorously!!! It's really cute.

I love our routine with it now. She signs for milk, goes and gives DH a kiss and a hug, pushes him away (ha!) and then comes back to me so we can go to her chair. It just makes me happy that she gives DH some love first

Right now my giant 22 month old fell back to sleep after nursing and is just laying on me, the same way she did as a tiny baby. Reminds me that although she is almost 2, she is still my little baby.

My favorite thing is her routine when I get home from work. She grabs my hand, says walk and walks me over to the couch. Then she says sit and after I sit she says climb. I help her climb up and then she says push to get me to lean back followed by a rousing chant of milk milk milk please. Hilarious!
