Once the weather gets warmer I'm going to move DD2 (18m) out of sleep sacks. What kind of blankets do you use for warmer weather?
We have a ton of cotton blankets from DD1 but they're all so small.

A&A swaddle blankets. They don't do much for warmth but she liked them all summer.

Is she still in a crib? Then just a A&A muslin one
In a bed? Just a sheet, no blanket

Same as @Foodnerd81: If it's a chilly night, I'll layer a couple of them. Would love to get a Dream blanket, though...

We use a loose-knit type blanket. He has the one below (from my MIL) and a crochet one that someone made him.

@Foodnerd81: @littlebug: are they big enough? What's a good price for a new one?
@Mamaof2: yes, no plans to change that any time soon!

@LBee: so I know they're very breathable. But I also find them quite heavy?

@regberadaisy: The one someone made him is kind of heavy, but the one I posted to is definitely not heavy. He runs SUPER hot at night (plus we live in the South) and it works for him. We have a dream blanket too and it's definitely too heavy for him.
ETA: An A&A swaddle blanket would definitely work too

I think anything made of a natural fibre (cotton, merino wool etc) is going to be nice and breathable so it might just be a case of finding the right size?

Dream blanket works great for both seasons, but both of mine just ended up using it as a pillow so we just dressed them appropriately to sleep with no blanket. We used fleece sleepers year round and then just regular cotton pj's around 18 months.

@littlebug: I got a dream blanket on gilt before Christmas and it's lovely. Just as soft as the swaddled but a great weight. Makes me want the great big one for myself.
@regberadaisy: I have a four pack for each of my girls and they are about $30-35 I think? It's just the thin one layer ones.

@regberadaisy: Are you asking good price for A&A swaddle? I have like 4 billion - wall me and I can send you 1 or 2 if you pay shipping.

We have the dream blanket, and I love the size and weight. I started using it this winter over LO's sleep sack, and plan to use it alone for the summer.

A&A makes a Stroller blanket thats like a 2 ply swaddle blanket and we just love it plus its way cheaper than a dream blanket
