DD decided that she had to have a grown-up pillow last night. We nurse before bed on a day bed in her room and when I picked her up to put her in her crib she grabbed a pillow and refused to let it go. I let her bring it into her crib and she was so excited.
When she's on our bed she immediately scurries to the top and throws herself in the pillows and smiles.
So it's time. She's made her case.
What pillow do you have for your toddler? The one she used last night is puffier than I'd pick.

My 5 yr old recently asked for a pillow - I bought him a cheapy from target for $5 - its pretty flat but he likes it!

I bought LO a crib pillow from Ikea, it's really flat. He prefers our pillows, but I'm not comfortable with him using that just yet.

She has a very flat one. I think its a cheap $3 one from Walmart or something.

DD has had one for a while now, it had been on our bed previously and is a flat, pathetic regular head pillow. She has totally made her case for hers, seeing her laying on it perfectly when we check on her in the night is pretty awesome too!

@locavore_mama: I ended up giving her a flat-ish adult pillow. She really loves having it. As soon as I put her in her crib she hugs it.

I bought DD a toddler pillow off Amazon that is puffy but is not too high so that spine alignment is an issue. So far DD loves it and I find her still on it in the morning 80% of the time.

We're beginning to think that LO wants a pillow. A couple of mornings ago, I looked at the monitor to find LO balled up his blanket, put it in a corner, and used it as a pillow. I'm curious what the peds say about pillows before we introduce one to him.

@cascademom: DS does the same thing. Balls up his lovies and puts them under his head.

@cascademom: D does this, too, with his A&A swaddle that we use as a blanket. Except he balls it up under his whole upper half, not just his head. He's so weird.

I just bought a flattish cheap pillow, cut it in half and sewed the opening.
