well you already know this is TMI, I apologize, but I really need advice!

LO (26 mo) used to go 1x/day and it was easy to deal with. in the last couple months she started going ~3x/day, smaller ones. they're always soft so I don't worry about constipation. but, she doesn't push them all the way out - they're always still in the crack in which makes for a LOT of wiping needed. she hates that, fights it a lot which means it takes forever, she gets irritated back there, which means we have to be even more vigilant . . . it is a nasty cycle and I feel so bad when she is crying and fighting us every #2 diaper change. I wonder if she doesn't like the feel of it in her diaper so doesn't push it out? she's at the age to ask for a change as soon as she goes, but doesn't tell me beforehand yet.

I am hoping potty training might help and will be trying that once our trip this week is over. but any ideas for dealing with it while still in diapers? I'm not sure potty training is going to work yet either . . .
