We *might* take LO up to the mountains this month (or next). I'd like to let her at least try skiing or sledding on a small bunny slope. We have a Columbia jacket/overall set I got on sale last year and tons of beanies. I'm sure we'll have to rent boots and helmet if she tries to ski. I think we have a pair of waterproof mittens, but I can already see her hating them.

What else should I get for something like sledding/in snow weather? She will be 21/22 months and very active.

Does your toddler wear mittens or gloves (with fingers)? Do you think it's worthwhile to get snow shoes for something like sledding or building snowmen, etc.? Or are rain boots sufficient? She'll have Uggs just for walking in the cold, but I know they're not waterproof.
