Any recommendations for a simple art/activity table for a toddler? He's only 16 months now, so I know he's probably a little young for it, but we'd love to get something he can grow into over the next few years.

We got an IKEA table (sundvik, maybe?) and you can buy the chairs individually, which is nice. It has held up well in the year that we've had it.

We have a plastic folding table that is height adustable. It's great because it's sturdy, you can change the height over time as the kids grow (right now it is at the lowest, which is perfect for my 21 month old and 6 year old if they are using child-sized chairs), it's inexpensive so we don't worry that it gets covered in "art," and it's very easy to take down any time you need more space or want it out of the way (or want to move it to another room).

We just got DD the ikea latt table & chairs and she loves it! It's a great deal ($20) for the whole set. We painted it and added a roll of paper to it so she can draw and color to her hearts desire. Highly recommended. Plus since it's inexpensive we aren't as paranoid about it get ruined.

We have this one in white from Ikea: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40153703/.
Less than $50 for table & matching chairs. We've had it for a few months now and considering how cheap it is, it's held up very well! LO uses it constantly - for snacks, arts & crafts, etc - and it's very durable. Only thing is the paint is starting to chip off on the top (I think b/c she bangs stuff on it).

We have this set and we love it. Perfect for doing her art/ craft projects or playing with play dough and doing puzzles. And when her friends come over they sit and eat together...it's the cutest. We've had it since she was about a year and she's 26 months and have gotten so much use out of it

We bought a $5 Lack end table from ikea and found kids chairs used to go with it. Works out perfectly!
