Has your LO ever had tonsillitis?

I am really mad because I have no clue how long she has had this. At DDs 3 yr check up the doctor said she had a little swelling of her tonsils. Prescribed nothing. Now DDs tonsils are huge. She's sleeping now because she wants to see the dr later.

I guess I really just wanted to vent and to ask if your LO has had it and how you made them more comfortable if they had it?
