I love my engagement ring, but it its a little high and is square, so the corners can feel a little sharp. When LO is here, I'd hate it if I scratched her. A few days ago I took it off and put it in a drawer because it was starting to be just a bit uncomfortable. For now I'm just wearing my wedding band.
Any other bees taking off their rings?

I took my e-ring off a couple of months ago.
I'm wearing the eternity band DH bought me as my early push present.
My e-ring has a high setting as well and I was worried of scratching my LO, but she's almost 19 months old and I've never scratched her with my ring!

I purposefully wanted a wedding band that had diamonds and was pretty on it's own because of this. I never wear my engagement ring anymore. Not only the worry of scratching DS but getting crud caught under the stone.
I save it for special occasions.

This is why I got a simple flat set ring! I didn't want to worry in the future about it being caught on things. I'd have trouble working with a big ring sticking up anyway, it wouldn't fit under a glove. Maybe you could wear it on a necklace around your neck? I'd hate to just have a meaningful ring hidden away.

I've never scratched either LO's with it on but I did take it off for the last 2 months of my pregnancy + the first 3 weeks pp.

Never took mine off. They actually got stuck on at the end of my pregnancy, and I have never scratched either of my kids with it despite it having a high setting.

@Rosie Girl: @HeatherlovesKenny: @chopsuey119: I've scratched Hubs with mine, otherwise I wouldn't worry much about it. Getting baby poop under the stone is another concern of mine.
@sarac: I may get a nice chain to wear it on at some point. That's a really good idea.

I took my ering and band off last month. They still fit, but they're tight and I didn't want to risk an emergency room extraction of my rings!

While I can still jam my rings on, I'm worried that one day they won't come off so they've remained off for a while.
One of my pre-reqs when DH asked my ring preferences was a low profile setting so I wouldn't have to worry about scratching future LOs.

I had to take my rings off working 2 months of getting pregnant. They only just fit this last month when I lost some more weight. I've scratched DS twice so now I'm careful, but after over 2 years of not wearing my rings, I don't want to take them off again.

I don't wear my engagement ring -- it was my mother's and has a wide band so wearing the two together pushes the wedding band too far up against my knuckle. Plus the engagement ring is now too tight. My wedding ring is a channel set thin band so I won't be going without just for LO. However, this morning I tried to get it off and it was really hard, so it might be coming off soon from bloating/swelling/weight gain. Awesome. I refuse to take it off already (I'm only 25 weeks) but I'm afraid of the ER extraction too, so I'm trying to see how long is too long to wait

I chose not to have an engagement ring because all my married friends only wear their wedding band. I have an eternity diamond band and thats it. I still take it off when I get home

At 35.5 weeks I still have no issues getting my rings on and off. I plan to wear them after LO is here. Hubs would be pretty bummed if I stopped wearing my ring considering what he paid for that bad boy!

I had to take my engagement ring off last week because I noticed it was getting a bit snug from swelling/weight gain. I am still wearing my eternity wedding band. So sad to take off my engagement ring. Can't wait until I can wear it again.
