We only went to 4 houses (our immediate neighbors) but I was that Mom who gave away playdough and pencils! Lame I know!

We didn't TOT this year, but we gave away stickers along with our candy! Lots of teenagers this year, and they all took stickers too! Made me happy haha

We gave away pencils, stickers, and Halloween rubber duckies. It was all gone long before the candy.

A lot of our neighbors participated in the Teal Pumpkin Project and gave away non-candy items (or had a non-candy option) for kids with food allergies.

We didn't TOT since our Lo is only 15 months....but on our way to a baby halloween party that my mommy group was having, we stopped to look at one super-over-the-top, awesomely decorated house...and when we didn't ring the door bell (we were just letting LO look at all the monsters), the owner cam out and gave us a bag of non-food halloween toys and gifts, including the halloween bag! It was crazy...he was giving out a full bag to every TOTer. I mean, I could tell from their place that they are rich, but so generous too which is amazing in this day and age.

Here's the bag and everything that was inside. Can you imagine giving one of these to everyone?

She only trick or treated on our street, which is all teachers from my school, and she got all candy except the orange she got from the teacher who forgot to pick up candy at our co-op until that day, and a cat mask. Next year I'll be the house with the non-candy treats.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: that's odd. I hope someone wasn't punishing their kids by making them give away their toys.

We didn't TOT but went to a Halloween party that had arts and crafts and the party favor was snacks, a coloring book and crayons. Kind of sad Halloween is over with already. This year is going by way too fast.

A glow stick that was quite popular. As far as non-candy, my neighbor handed out Goldfish that were a huge hit!

Tattoos and a pumpkin eraser! Mixed in with the loads of candy for the amount of time we were out (LO is almost 3)
