Can someone please give me a quick rundown on Transformers? My 3.5 yo bought a Bumblebee toy today (first purchase with his own money!). He's played with Bumblebee at a couple places and is OBSESSED with the toy but has never actually seen anything Transformers. I thought they were just movies but I guess they are shows? Are any appropriate for a 3.5 year old that feature Bumblebee that I can stream? I googled it but it seems like there's a lot of transformer stuff out there, haha. Help!

@LadyDi: Look up Rescue Bots. My son watched it when he was 4-5 (now we are into the actual transformer movies... thanks DH...).

Rescue bots is good for preschool age. It’s a somewhat different set of characters but some of them feature the “older” ones like Optimus prime, bumblebee, etc. The ones in these shows turn into rescue vehicles so plays into kids’ love of fire trucks, etc. You can stream at least some of them on Netflix (that’s all we’ve ever seen). They have been a favorite toy here for over a year and we now have a small collection!

I was also coming to suggest Rescue Bots. They also have a great set of toys for them - they transform SUPER easily. It means I don’t spend all my days being asked to transform things.
