Does anyone have something like this for road / car trips?
Useful? Pointless?

We don't.... I feel like it might be good for an older kid, but I see my LO saying, "put it on.' "take it off" and repeating that and getting upset when I can't do that because I'm up front.

@artbee: fair point.
We've got a few long road trips coming up to visit family & friends and I'm not sure how she will do on the way back when we have to drive during the day. Before when she was younger she would just sleep. Who knows she might still surprise me.

@locavore_mama: I don't see it's usefulness. Especially at this age. I would just take the snack catcher, sippy cups and books and maybe a play laptop and offer her things. @artbee has a point - it may just get in the way.

We had one. We used it once or twice but for the most part we just hand things back.

I have something like that. We never used it!

I know I am totally weird for still sitting in the backseat with my kid, but we just were on a trip and the car seat tray would have been useful for puzzles and other activities. I actually have one, but I totally spaced on it.
