Thoughts? I know there are tons of Tripp Trapp lovers on here. But I can't find anything from the bees about the Keekaro!

We have one and I'll keep it but I kinda wish I had gone for the Tripp trapp. I can only compare by guessing, but it seems like it's a smaller footprint. But they are very similar. Any specific questions I can answer?

We have both and I prefer the trip trapp. Smaller footprint, fits better under the table, and I don't like the two handed removal of the keekaroo tray.

@birdofafeather: is it hard to move the seats to diff levels? And you think the back legs sticking out makes it a bigger footprint than TT?

@hilsy85: so right now I can either get a used trip trap in great condition, or 2 used keekaroo for the price of one trip trapp. It's not imperative that I have 2; I mostly want it for my 2.5 yr pls but thought it would be nice to switch my 8 mo old too (but she can always stay in her high. Hair now until I find another used deal for trip trap). I guess it sounds like trip trap is still worth the bigger price tag!

@snowjewelz: why would you want it for your 2.5 ur old? Is she not in a regular chair? My 22 month old just started refusing our trip trapp and is now in a regular chair (altho I should try taking out the infant insert).
So I guess I should add that it seems like a waste IMO to get it to use mainly as a regular chair, especially since it would overlap with the time your little one would use it, so it wouldn't ever really be used as a high chair. Maybe look into a seat booster (we had an oxo one that was good) for the 2.5 ur old?

@hilsy85: does your 22 month old just sit in a regular chair by itself? My 3.5 year old has still been using her Tripp trapp (without the baby seat) until this week, when she has started wanting an "adult chair" because she thinks she's grown up, but she's nowhere near big enough to reach the table without sitting up on her knees! Meal time sitting in the Tripp trapp for us is SO much easier!!

@fmmtk: she does! She sits up on her knees. I wish she would do the high chair (and I'll have to give it another try without the insert) but she wants to do everything her big brother does.

@hilsy85: she is in a regular chair now in a booster but she doesn't like it We were at her cousins and they have the Tripp trapp and she loved it! So maybe I just get one and let her use it for a while then pass it on....

@snowjewelz: you should get one of those junior chairs from IKEA! We've been using one
For months.

@mrsbubbletea: oh what! So these are dining table height? Is it hard to get in and off tho?

@snowjewelz: @hilsy85: @fmmtk: Wow! my 6 year old is still in her TT and loves it! She sits at the perfect height at the table (less mess, less dropped food).

@T.H.O.U.: mine just wants to be exactly like her big bro so if he's in a regular chair that's what she wants!

@hilsy85: Thats why we have 3 TT so they are all in the same chair!

@T.H.O.U.: so good to know that I can get my money's worth! I will hunt for another pre loved one for DD2 if needed then.
I went with the Tripp trapp!
