AND I'M FREAKING OUT. I have several apps I use for period tracking, but all agree I am in my fertile window. I am excited and nervous going forward in my first month of active TTC. We BD'd this morning already, and I'm nervous this was our only shot and maybe enough semen didn't make it inside, etc. Then the joyous two weeks of waiting to see if AF comes, because I don't want to stress myself out even more by taking numerous pregnancy tests. Oh dear. How oh how do you make it through this?

Are you also temping or using OPKS? If you had sex and he reached his grand finale, then there isn't much more you can do-- it only takes one time. I got pregnant this time after DTD once during my FW. As far as the 2ww, I just didn't let myself think about it, symptom spot, etc. I tried to put it out of my mind as much as possible.

LOL! Best of luck. Try (easier said than done!) not to freak out this early in the process. Obviously I hope you're a fertile myrtle and get knocked up on your first cycle. But it can take two perfectly healthy individuals almost a year to conceive as well. So...this early in the process try to have a little fun with it!
you can absolutely have sex more than once a day to up your chances.

Try not to freak out. I freaked out so bad I messed up my cycle for 2 months. Took 5 months to get pregnant, which isn't bad but I bet it would have been sooner...

So exciting! I'm in my first month of TTC for #2 and not even close to ovulating yet, but it's still just so exciting!
My advice is to try to enjoy the journey as much as the destination. It took us a while to successfully conceive our first, and I wish we hadn't let the fun go out of it quite so early in the process. The TWW sucks, but that's what HelloBee is here for! Best of luck to you!

The tww is sooo hard when trying to conceive your first. Try to keep busy and stay calm. Sign up for a fun evening class and go to yoga. Anything to keep you occupied and keep your mind busy! Hope things go smoothly for you!

Busy life doesn't like TTC very much I guess. Well, I've quit drinking, now is the TWW. Baby dust, ladies!

FWIW, the cycle I conceived my son we only managed to get it on one time, 2 days prior to ovulation...after a full year of much, much better timing. And this pregnancy, we managed twice within the possible window, but the first was 5-6 days before and the second was the day of. So you never know!
