@Adira: Yup, but on the other hand, it's nice to know that you're not going crazy all by yourself! Wow, a board where everyone gets a BFP, that would be wild...

  2. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

Just so you ladies know, I probably won't be around the next three days. I might pop in briefly to see how you all are doing, but I do my most posting when I'm at work (I know, I'm such a slacker).

@Arielle9510: Good luck on Saturday! Hope you see a BFP!!

I'll be around on Monday and I hope to see some good news!!

@Adira: Have a great weekend! I know what you mean about having high hopes for everyone on the board and feeling just as much disappointment for their BFNs. But like @Grace said, it's so great to have the support and co-crazy of everyone here!

I think I've reserved myself to the fact that PMS is now setting in. I am still having waves of random nausea but I just don't think it's happened this month. I'm going to try to deal with it and not be bummed but this TWW has just taken it's toll.

  7. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

@crisark: This does feel like an extra rough one. I'll keep thinking positive thoughts for you, though!

I just found out this morning that one of my coworkers is pregnant for the 5th time. From a 4th guy. I'm trying not to be bitter, but it's hard when we're on our 7th cycle of ttc and she just keeps having "oopses."

It's also hard because my boobs aren't sore anymore and so now I'm not having any symptoms anymore.

@eiko2010: Wow. That is rough. I think I would feel bitter if I was around someone who kept getting pregnant so easily. I'm on cycle 14 and I can't help but get irritated when people have such an easy time and don't seem to be thrilled to be pregnant.

Fingers crossed that your symptoms come back & you get your BFP!!

@eiko2010: @Crisark: I'm sorry ladies. Hoping that your bodies are doing reverse psychology on you!

  10. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@eiko2010: My boobs don't hurt anymore either. The only thing I have symptom wise is minor bloat (which can be PMS), Headaches, nausea and tiredness.
All for the most part can be PMS finally showing up. I'm 5 days til AF should arrive. Hoping to be able to POAS but I'm just trying not to focus on it.

  11. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

@pbandbaseball: I think that's part of what is so frustrating. She doesn't seem to be happy about the pregnancy at all. She's totally trying to hide it, even though she's like 4 months along or something. Like she's embarrassed about it. She says she doesn't believe in bc. Ok, then how about not doing it at all! Grrr...so irritated.

  12. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@eiko2010: Oh I would have lost my Sh!t by now on that situation. I am so fragile with people like that right now. You are better than me for keeping it together.

  13. PBandBaseball

    clementine / 861 posts

@eiko2010: I've been around people like that over the past year of trying and it is so painful. I just try to tell myself how much I will appreciate it when I do get pregnant. Hopefully after baby #5 she will start to figure out how to prevent pregnancy! Perhaps she should start charting to avoid baby #6. lol.

  14. PBandBaseball

    clementine / 861 posts

@Crisark: I think the reason why I don't lose it on those people is because I am afraid of looking like the crazy woman who can't get pregnant. That's why it's so great that we have HB to vent on!

  15. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

@pbandbaseball: @Crisark: Here, here on the thank goodness for HB! When I first found out she was pregnant, it was all I could do to not completely lose it. So I came here. (c:

@PBandBaseball: I wasn't born with patience lol So, if this TTC thing takes more than a couple I am likely to be certifiable.
My LO's didn't take long at all to conceive but I was younger and not as heavy so I have a lot of fear with how this will play out. But, I'm also a spaz lol Feel bad for my husband yet??

I'm out! AF showed up today, right on time (as expected). I didn't think we gave it our all this past month, so I'm disappointed but not surprised. And for the second month, I'm a bit nauseous too... If its still around in the next day or so I'll get some B6 to try.

Thinking of trying OPKs and maybe starting to temp this next month. A friend recently told me that they conceived both kids on the 3rd month with OPKs (which she didn't use on the first 2 months). So hoping that will work for us too!

On to "Late May". Good luck ladies!

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@Mrs.Someone: Sorry you are out this month.
I do believe I'll be saying the same thing though in the next couple days.
I've also been thinking about really using OPK's but will probably wait another month.

@Mrs.Someone: I'm sorry that you're out this month. I just got a CBEFM and will start using that tomorrow. I feel like it's worth a shot! Hopefully "Late May" will bring us both a BFP!

  20. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

Thanks! I didn't want to do OPKs and charting right away, since I thought every little sign would make me stress out. But its happening anyway, so maybe those things will bring some peace of mind! Heres what I have in my cart:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FYLNVU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A2ILM41MTRJ78H
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000533AY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1T2QV8RUJMJWO

Its a total of $25, not bad. And I take a thyroid pill as soon as I wake up every morning anyway, so it wont be a big deal to stick a thermometer in my mouth first.

    @Mrs.Someone: So sorry you're out

As for me, its 4DPO and the TWW is already feeling like its taking forever.

@Mrs.Someone: Looks good! I use the Fertility Friend app on my phone to track my temps and symptoms and definitely recommend that if you aren't already using it.

Anyone ever O late? Fertility Friend predicted I would O on Wednesday (CD 14) but I thought it would be Thursday (CD15) and according to my temps today, it seems I didn't. Now, I"m really, REALLY wanting to see that temp go up tomorrow.

  25. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@PBandBaseball Good idea, I might try it! I have a stupid-phone at the moment, but DH has an old iPhone that ATT will now let him unlock for me so I have more of a reason to get him to do it

@mrs.someone: I'm sorry you're out. Definitely recommend Fertility Friend. You can use their website even if you don't have a smart phone. I actually find that charting keeps me saner.

@Jumpingjacks: I always O on either CD15 or CD16, so I don't have advice for you. I hope O comes soon for you!

I actually just downloaded the app (and purchased the stuff I mentioned). Realized it will work on my iTouch too

    @mrs.someone sorry, that really sucks.

I think I'm around 6dpo now. I really think I ovulated super early so this cycle will probably be the shortest one yet at around 25 days. If I was wrong and I misinterpreted the ovulation signs them AF won't show up until May 13. I wish I had been charting still so I would know!

  31. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@Mrs.Someone: Sorry to hear that. Oodles of good luck for Late May!
@Jumpingjacks: I O late all the time. Stress, cold medication, lookin at yourself in the mirror with your eyes crossed (ok, maybe not the last one) can all delay ovulation.

  32. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

@mrs.someone: I bought those EXACT things on Amazon when I started charting. My friend told me the same thing: her 2nd cycle using OPKs was their lucky cycle (same for her friend who told her to get OPKs). That's us this cycle, so I'm hoping we have the same result. Oh and that thermometer is super easy to use! Good luck!

  33. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@Mrs.Someone: So sorry to hear that you're out. Hopefully third try's the charm for you! Hopefully the OPKs work for you. And I definitely think charting's a good idea, so hopefully that helps!

@oliviaoblivia: thanks! I'm usually very regular too. This month has been weird all around.

@Mrs.Someone: So sorry, my dear. I would recommend either temping or using OPK's/CBEFM. i found out that i O later than when FF predicts my O days are, all because of the OPK's. It just helps us understand our cycles a little better
    here's to late may POAS!

  37. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@sylvie_b: Really? Was it just the prediction, or was the time that it was pinpointing ovulation off too?

  38. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

Had a BBT spike this morning (from 97.7 to 98.2). Of course, immediately googled what that could mean. If it stays higher, it looks like it could be indicative of triphasic cycle, which can *sometimes* indicate implantation. Eeep!

  39. oliviaoblivia

    @eiko2010: Exciting!

  40. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@eiko2010: Oh my gosh, that's exciting!!! I hope that's what it's indicating and isn't just a fluke! Don't you hate how your temps do something one day that could be really encouraging but you have to wait until the next day to confirm it??

Ladies, this TWW is lasting FOREVER!!! I'm 11 DPO today and my temps are down a little bit, but still higher than my usual post-ovulation temps. BUT I did wake up later and get up in the middle of the night to pee, so I'm trying not to let myself think it means anything.

Normally at 11 DPO, my CM would dry up, but it's still there, so that's definitely different. But the day is young so... again, trying not to get my hopes up.

    @arielle9510: Any news???
