@Adira: I was on Mirena for only 16months.
I'm really in tune to my body so I know what's normal as far as AF. I also still had all the symptoms of AF while on Mirena just never actually bled.
I'm confident that I know what should be happening. However, I still have a week left and anything can change. I'm not upset or too hopeful. I'm just rolling with it since there isn't anything else I can do lol

@Crisark: Well it's definitely good that you're already in tune with your body! Hopefully these symptoms are leading you towards a BFP!!! But you have a good outlook of the situation. I'm a hot crazy mess and I can't focus on ANYTHING, haha.
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@Adira: No don't get that confused with sanity cause I'm a raging lunatic right now lol
I'm just paying attention to everything I'm feeling which could be bad and good depending.

@Crisark: I had mirena for four years with no periods and no symptoms. Coming off of it has been interesting. I'm glad you feel you know what's going on with your body. The first few months without it I was SHOCKED every time AF showed.
@Adira: I'm a crazy hot mess with you girl. My stomach grumbles and I google "stomach grumble - early pregnancy". We're more than halfway done - so that's something.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Crisark: hahaha, I do the same thing! And I think it's making me crazy. I'm like "Oh! Was that cramping?? Am I cramping??? I think I feel something! Am I imagining this right now?? Maybe it's just a stomach ache..." I can't wait for this TWW to be over!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@oliviaoblivia: haha, I hope my employers don't look at my search history! Everything they'll see will be "pregnancy symptoms during TWW" and "exercising during TWW" and "what does implantation pain feel like?" I'm such a basket-case!
Do you know if you're testing this weekend or waiting until next? I know I said I was going to wait, but I more and more want to test early!!! But then I think of how devastated I will be to see a BFN and I change my mind. But THEN I think of how I'll be able to move on that much quicker... so I'm torn! I think I might do what you do... help me!!

I'm 13DPO now, and would love to test! But I'm still trying to hold out since I have no symptoms and AF is due on Friday... I suppose I should be in the "late april" thread, but this one is moving more
pineapple / 12793 posts
@Adira: I was going to do whatever you decided to do! I really don't know yet. If my temps are still up on Monday (13DPO) I'll test so DH will know before he leaves.....or should I wait to surprise him when he comes back???????????????
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@oliviaoblivia: I was fortunate to still feel AF while on Mirena. If you look at my earlier posts, I was a basket case right after having it out. March was my weird month where I just had no idea what the hell was going on but April was textbook.
I'm trying to not get too hopeful because the odds of one real cycle resulting in a BFP are slim but who knows.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Mrs.Someone: Oh my gosh, I'm sooooo jealous you're at 13 DPO already!!! You theoretically could test now! But if AF is only a couple days away, you might as well wait. If you can!
@oliviaoblivia: hahahaha, we're awesome. How long does your luteal phase usually last? Mine only lasts 13 days and I usually start spotting on 12 DPO, so I'll actually probably know by Monday if AF is coming or not. Maybe I should just hold out... I'll start spotting on Sunday anyway if AF is on her way, so testing on Saturday won't really do me any good.
Do you think your DH would prefer to be there when you test? You mentioned that he'd love to be able to tell his sister in person if you are pregnant, right? I think maybe I would test if I were you. 13 DPO should theoretically be "late enough" during the TWW to be accurate, although it'll probably depend on when implantation occurs.

@Mrs.Someone: Do you usually have symptoms before AF? Test test test!!! I'm eager for a BFP on this board.
@Crisark: I remember when you first had it out, I think we talked about "biblical periods". It sucks that your cycle hasn't totally regulated yet. After my initial withdrawl bleed, two weeks later I had a gruesome period and then went back to normal that cycle. It's been like clockwork since that first heavy period.
pineapple / 12793 posts
@Adira: My LP is usually 15 days, but last month was 13 (wtf?). Last time I tested he was in the bathroom with me, he likes that kind of stuff. I'll probably test.
OK ladies Monday April 30th (13DPO) I'm testing. proceed freakout.
pomelo / 5228 posts
No way, not testing until (if) AF is late, sorry ladies! I have one FRER, and I don't want to ever have to buy more...
I usually don't get AF symptoms until just before she arrives (if at all) so things are normal all around.
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@oliviaoblivia: Yeah it sucked after the removal bleed. But March was just not having anything normal. I really think this months cycle was totally normal. Hopefully I won't have to have another one for 9 months lol
And so exciting you can test soon!!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@oliviaoblivia: Ahhh!!! So excited for you to test!!!! I hope it's positive and your husband gets to deliver the awesome news to his sister!!! Only a few more days left for you!
@Mrs.Someone: haha, good for you holding out! You'll still be testing earlier than half of us!

@Adira: Aww, thanks. That makes me feel much better. I think I had a little panic attack yesterday while I was reading that. I bet we all are a little crazy from TTC.
@Crisark: I saw that part you posted about your DH still being alive. I laughed! I am so a psycho bitch when I get PMS.

@bluestriped bee: LOL Yeah I get really bad. I'm so scared it's all going to hit me in the next day or so. This last week of the TWW is killer.

So remember my wonky chart and how I wasn't sure when exactly my O day was based on my bbts. Well, according to FF, O day was Fri 4/20, CD 15. Which puts me at AF due Fri 5/4. I'm going to try to hold to POAS until then. I'm only 5 DPO and I'm DYING to test! Especially since my boobs are so sore!
@oliviaoblivia: My temps are also averaging much lower than normal this cycle. My coverline is the same as last month, but my LP temps are much lower - by like 0.2 degrees! It's weird.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@bluestriped bee: Especially considering how close you felt with this girl, I don't think it's weird you wanted to see her baby-bump! I would be like you too! I know with my good friends, I'll be demanding baby-bump pictures if I don't get to see them all the time. So I don't think you're crazy. Unless we all are...?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@eiko2010: Oh good! I was wondering what the results ended up looking like with your chart! Glad you got it all figured out! I've HEARD that sore boobs are a good sign! Are they usually sore for you? I hope this means you're pregnant!!

@oliviaoblivia: That's so exciting that you're testing so soon!! This thread needs a BFP!
pineapple / 12793 posts
Does anybody else get scared to test? I get super super nervous. "what if it's positive? what if it's negative" I find it totally nerve racking and usually try to avoid it.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@oliviaoblivia: I think I'm scared to test and that's why I've been holding off until AF is late... I'm scared of seeing a BFN. AND I'm scared that my husband won't be as excited over a BFP as I will be! He's not nearly as baby-crazy as I am, so I'm scared of how a BFP will affect us.
honeydew / 7504 posts
@oliviaoblivia: Definitely! I always have to psych myself up for it.
@Adira: I usually get a little sore the week before my period. Never this soon after O, though. And it never lasts this long. Usually it's a day, maybe two. Now they've been sore since Sunday.
pineapple / 12793 posts
@eiko2010: sore boobs - yay! only in TTC-land is it normal to congratulate someone on pain.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@eiko2010: I hope it means what I think it means!!!! Only have to wait a week to find out, haha.
honeydew / 7504 posts
@Adira: @oliviabolivia: Thanks! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. But I'm also peeing like crazy, which is definitely not normal for me! Ha ha!
It's so hard not to pick apart your "symptoms" and convince yourself you're pregnant!

@Adira: Yeah, haha!
@oliviaoblivia: Yup, I get scared to test, too!
@eiko2010: Oh, all good signs! Let's hope it is what we think it is.
@oliviaoblivia: Haha. It is funny that we can congratulate on sore boobs! Or on any other symptoms.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@oliviaoblivia: absolutely get scared to test. The last two times I decided not to test until the day after AF was due. And so I never tested. This month I think I might test early, just to get the chance to.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@eiko2010: Don't you convince yourself that you are PG every month? I've since learned that my body is a big fat liar, but I still pay attention to symptoms. This month, I'm 5DPO and I'm exhausted and I feel like I've been peeing a lot.

@oliviaoblivia: and @Mrs.Someone: , Monday will be here rather soon! I'm freaking out (in a good way) for y'all!! Hope to hear awesome news Monday morning.

@bluestriped bee: may 7th for me! i'll be camping the weekend before, so if i were home, i'd probably cave before that!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@eiko2010: @Grace: I think people either do one or the other. They either convince themselves they ARE pregnant that month, or they convince themselves their NOT! There's no in between!
