    @MrsLilybugg: DH called the fertilty center. They said they sent the results back to the referring doctor (my OB-gyn) and can't discuss the results over the phone. I'm going to be right across the street from the fertilty center so I called them back and asked them if I could come by in person to get the results. They said they still couldn't discuss the results. Now I have to call my doctor. She is retiring soon so I don't know what's going to happen. I was on hold with my OB-gyn for a long time before I hung up to call the fertilty center. Now I have to call back. I'm afraid I have wait longer for the doctor to review the results then mail the results to us. Ugh!

    @bluestriped bee: FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!! ughhj I hate dealing with process. Is your ob-gyn's office far? Maybe try going in person if tomorrow if you can't get a hold of her on phone? gosh i would hope you get a call with results and not a letter

    hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

    @MrsLilybugg: ok. I left a message with my OB-gyn's nurse. I hope someone calls me back. I don't understand why the fertility center couldn't discuss the results with me. If something is wrong, I would have to use their services anyway. My OB-gyn even told me that the next time I would see their office is if I was pregnant and that I would work with the fertility center until then. Come on!

    @MrsLilybugg: Well, I see I have a voicemail from the doctor's office. My phone died on the way home so I'm charging it now. I hope she actually left a message and not a 'Please call us back' type of message.

    @Trailmix: so sorry, sweetie it can take a bit for cycles to normalize post bc. I'm thinking yours will improve too and your LP will bein the 10-14 window soon....and b6 works, I've heard!

    @Crisark: I'm excited for this next month for you, my dear! Hoping it's filled with lots of positives!!

    @bluestriped bee: Thinking of you, friend. Wishing for good news

    As for me, AF officially arrived. It looks like I O'd later than I thought and my LP was 12 days, so that was good. My cycle was 32 days this month, one of my longer cycles (I range btwn 29-32).

    I'm not too bummed bc this was our first cycle and I think we didn't bd close enough to my o date bc of a work trip i took when I ACTUALLY O'd. Ah well.

    These next few months, I'll get to chart which will be interesting, but we'll be taking a little break so I can enjoy our belated honeymoon to Singapore and Bali in June. Then we'll be back on the ttc train!

    Sending lots of baby dust and positive thoughts to our remaining poas ladies!

    @sylvie_b: sorry AF showed!!!!!

    I'm sitting pretty at 8 dpo. Bored. Time is passing so slowly!!! But the weekend will go fast and come Monday I'll be 11 dpo and that much closer

    Not much in symptom sporting to report. Boobs are sore but that's normal for me. I fell asleep on the couch last night but I haven't been sleeping well...

    I am out 10DPO and negative. I also started spotting right after I took the test. I wasn't expecting anything since this is our first month, but still sad. More concerned that my cycle was only 26 days. We will see when AF officially starts.

    Hi all, just checking in. 11dpo and I managed to not test again this morning (I try to only test with FMU) after yesterday's BFN. Was feeling abnormally sad yesterday. I think symptoms have resided and at the gym this morning I started feeling AF-type cramps, although I'm not expecting her til Tuesday. I guess I'm still not officially out but trying not to get my hopes up.

    Hi girls, just checking in. Only 5DPO today. Nothing really to report besides some "light cramping" I've felt the past 2 days. I feel like I'm kind of over-analyzing everything my body does so I don't even know if these are "light cramps" or I'm just imagining them Plus it could be pre-AF cramps...we'll see.

    @charlotte: Welcome!

    @Crisark: Glad there's finally some closure for the last cycle!

    @bluestriped bee: keeping my fingers crossed for you!

    @Smurfette: I tested at 9, 10, and 11 DPO, and they were all negative for me too. It's discouraging. I'm holding out until AF visits as well. Hopefully, it'll stay far, far away from us!!

    @eastcoaster: I feel ya! I super analyze every little twinge in my body wondering if it's a sign.

    Even though it didn't end well, I thought you girls might find it encouraging to hear that when I got pregnant I had a BFN at 12 dpo and BFP at 14 dpo. (the mc happened much later so I'm confident the "late" BFP had nothing to do with it)

    @Crisark: YES! Such a relief that you're finally starting a new cycle

    @sylvie_b: WOW your trip sounds amazing!! During your break of TTC, will you just be NTNT? I think that may be just the trick for a BFP - relaxation on a beach fingers crossed!

    @Smurfette: Sorry you are spotting

    @JoJoGirl: it's never over until AF arrives! You're still in!

    @Bluestriped bee If you didn't talk to you ob office yet...
    I think the problem is that the results have your DH name on it.
    HE will have to call or pick up in person. We had that problem too.
    (patient privacy issues....)

    My spotting has only been really dark brown, and almost nothing after this morning. This is my first cycle off BC, and I never had this before. Is this common to spot like this before AF shows up?

  26. BSB

    hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

    @Dash: My DH did call and still said they couldn't discuss the results. Well, I'm going to call the doctors on my lunch break. Let's hope she's available when I call. I have a feeling I'll be playing phone tag with them today.

    So, originally I was due to test on May 10, but then O was late. So I haven't tested. I'm on 13dpo today and I've been doing great at holding out! My no symptoms except some vague brief cramps have turned in to majorly sore breasts. (This does occassionally happen when AF is approaching, but not for quite some time). Also, my normal 5 - 8 days of spotting has not occurred AT ALL! yay. So, I'm going to test tomorrow. I decided I didn't want to wait for Sunday when AF is due. The reason is because it's Mother's Day and I don't want to be bummed out by a fresh BFN when I have to go have brunch with my family AND where I will be the only female who is not a mother.

    Send me good thoughts for testing tomorrow!

    @Smurfette: Spotting can mean different things from totally normal, implantation spotting, or something else like low progesterone. I surfed the web (because I spot for 5 - 8 days) and freaked myself right out diagnosing myself with everything! I don't recommend that approach. If you're worried, I would suggest you ask your doctor about it. My doctor told me that if it is only a few days of spotting, it's usually not an issue.

    @bluestriped bee: I had a really tough time getting my DH's results, too! I don't know what it is with these offices! And when I did finally get an explanation (the first go around) the nurse couldn't actually tell me what his numbers meant - she just kept saying "anomalous" and I kept saying (practically crying) "but what does that MEAN?" Eventually it was all explained to me after several more calls (and actually apologies from my Dr's office).

    Keep on plugging away until you have all the answers/explanations you need! That is their job after all to interpret the results for you! And I hope all comes back with great news for you!

  33. Dash

    coffee bean / 28 posts

    @bluestriped bee: ugh! the back and forth can be exhausting and frustrating. Don't give up! I hope you are able to get those results TODAY. Good luck! : )

  34. Smurfette

    GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts

    @Jumpingjacks: it sounds promising! Fingers crossed for you! I can't believe that you spot for 5-8 days. I wasn't worried about it, just more wondering if this common. Since I never spotted before, AF would just start, course I know it is a whole new ball game now off the pill.

  35. BSB

    hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

    @Jumpingjacks: Sending positive thoughts!!!

    @GreenThumb: Oh, that makes me feel a little better that it happens to others. Thanks! I hope I get a clear explanation of my DH's SA results. I'm just anxious. Is it going to be good or bad news?

    @Dash: Thanks. The back and forth is annoying. I hope I get some good news, too.

    Ugh, well my serious cramping this morning was apparently not a good sign... AF showed 4 days early I think my LP was still 11 days so while short, hopefully not too short. I'm out. Off to the June thread since I guess my next POAS will be around June 12th - our 1 year anniversary. I guess that would be nice?
