@sslm: I'll just leave it for now and see how things pan out. Since I started charting mid-cycle it'll probably won't give me crosshairs anyway.

Just a quick IVF update... I had one embryo transferred on Sunday! So we are off to the races! Unfortunately I'm suffering some symptoms due to over-stimulation from the IVF meds so I'm already on bed rest before I'm even really pregnant. Strangely enough I feel like I can patiently wait until our blood test on July 10th. We'll see how I feel next week!

@GreenThumb: Good luck!!! Sorry to hear you're already on bed rest, but I hope it only helps that embryo implant nicely!!!!

@GreenThumb: sorry you are on bed rest, but I'm so excited and can't wait to hear your results on July 10!!!!! Implant embryo, implant!!!!

I feel sooooo PMSy right now. Does that happen to anyone else before ovulation?
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@sslm - oh thank goodness! I've cried a panic attack and cried alllll day. We are painting the "baby's" room so it will be ready next time well I cried all day because I'm pissed I'm charting, using OPKs and allowed to paint. I SHOULD be pregnant damn it, and showing. Ugh.While I know all of those feelings are valid, the crying was extreme. I was worried AF was going to show again.

@alison206: I am a bit emotional around ovuluation, but I also found that my hormones had to regulate a bunch after our miscarriage.

@GreenThumb: Sorry to hear you are on bed rest! Good luck!!! I can't wait to hear how things go. Really pulling for you!!!!!

Talk me down, ladies! I am not even 1 day past ovuluation and I'm already stalking my old symptoms from our past pregnancy, checking out the old websites I used to persue when I'm analyzing my symptoms, looking up due dates, and more!
tomorrow I'm going to see Magic Mike. I have made a pact with myself that I'm not going to test until I'm late. : /

hi ladies! i'm back and i'm going to throw my hat in the ring this month too. The hubs and i just got back from our long overdue honeymoon and were feeling lucky while we were there.
no OPK's this month, so i'm guessing i'm appox 6 DPO. I'm gonna sit on my hands and stash the tests until the 12th and all i can say so far is that my chest is swollen and sore and i've been feeling those twinges again....which i've felt before but turned out to be ovulation twinges. who knows what'll happen...but i feel like July is gonna be a magical month for this thread!
here's the lowdown:
My estimated O date: June 27th
POAS/AF date: July 12th
TTC cycle: Month 2 / Started TTC in Jan 2012 (1 month) and resumed in June 2012
Trying anything new this month: we finally went on our long overdue honeymoon. 2 weeks of sun, beach and relaxation.
@Jennimac: fingers and toes crossed for you! and i'll join your pact and do whatever it takes to not cave and test early. it'll be worth it!
@GreenThumb: sending lots and lots of good luck thoughts your way, my dear!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Jennimac: you can do this! You know symptom spotting and early testing usually just leads to anxiety and disappointment!!! Be strong!!! I might be in the TWW with you so hopefully I can take my own advice
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
@Jennimac: don't symptom spot! most of us had virtually no symptoms until at least 4 or 5 weeks. i didn't really feel pregnant until week 6 (and that's only because of the nausea). you're only going to stress yourself out, and that's not good for the baby juju.

@sylvie_b: welcome back!!
Ok so I might be jinxing myself but I had a small temp rise and lots if ewcm today. Seems weird ac the temp rise indicates o yesterday, but with cramps and ewcm I think it could be today. Anyway, put me on the list to POAS on July 18th!

I went to the bathroom around 9 this morning and I was checking my CF and it was creamy and brown. Now it is gone. Could that be implantation bleeding? I am 10DPO and trying not to read into it! AF is due Fri or Sat, so I am going to be really upset if it is this early!! Still having creamy CF, is that a good sign?
About to head to the pool after lunch with my honey and then to friends tonight for a BBQ, so a good distraction.

@GreenThumb: boo on bed rest but hopefully it equals in sticky baby!! Good luck!
@sylvie_b: Welcome back! Hope we see a BFP from you. What a wonderful honeymoon present it'd be!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@JenniMac Stay strong! I know it's hard not to test till your late, but last time I got a BFN on Wednesday, and then tested Saturday with a BFP. Be patient! My hubby has hid the tests, I will force myself to wait till at least the day AF should arrive. I waste so much money otherwise
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Smurfette: could be, but I had the same thing around that time last cycle and wasn't pregnant fingers crossed for you though!!!!!
pomelo / 5073 posts
@sylvie_b: thanks! I'm luckily starting a camp on Friday, so that should help with distraction.
@photojane: Thanks! I'll try not to. I don't want this to be like my last pregnancy, since that ended in the MC at 20wks, but I do know that I had some major symptoms before I tested. I'm going to stay strong though.
@sslm: I hope we are TWW buddies!!! That would be awesome!!!
@alison206: Thanks! I do have those cheapie tests, so I'll use those to see if I have a positive, which they showed up early for me last time, and then go to a FRER and digital.
Time will tell ladies! As of right now, I'm going to get myself together to see the fine cinema of Magic Mike!

Alright, so now that AF has started , I'm ready to join in!
Today is cycle day 1 for me. Last AF was April 5:( so ended up inducing it with provera. Hoping that this will reset things and I'll O this month. I don't really know when to expect AF, so I guess we'll go with the 28 day default- aug 1st.
For those with long or irregular cycles, when do you start using OPK strips? And when do you throw in the towel for that cycle? I ordered a TON of them on amazon, but I'd still rather not blow through them.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@Mrs. Bird - I have 32-34 day cycles and I started on CD 8. I'll probably stop using them on cycle day 24 if I don't get a positive by then. I'm also temping so I think that'll provide helpful info. I only have enough to get to CD 24 since I've been known to use two in one day.
Right now our plan is to BD CD 14-19. I expect to O on CD 17 based on last time (Friday).
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@alison206: I hope you O when expected we could be TWW buddies with @JenniMac! I think I O'd yesterday but still waiting to confirm with temps.

@sslm: @ALIVOO01: @Sylvie_B: @Smurfette: @Jennimac: Thank you ladies. Yes, bed rest is not the most fun, but I did get a good call from my doc this morning that my labs came back great today (bad the last two - hence the bed rest) so I'll be checked again on Friday and maybe that will be all I need. Can't wait until next Tuesday for my pregnancy test!!!
Best of luck ladies! Hope this is a great month for BFPs!!
@Smurfette: Thanks so much for keeping track of all of us on the list - I just love this idea! Could you change my date to July 10? I've decided to wait until my blood test rather than POAS.

@alison206: Please, please, PLEASE be TWW buddies with @SSLM and me!
@GreenThumb: Counting down to Tuesday with you!!!! Fingers crossed!

I didn't ovulate. Temp went down this morning. So bummed. I took an opk this morning and there was a line. Since the two I've taken yesterday and the day before were stark whit I'm hoping this is a good sign... Who knows.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@sslm: Sorry! If there was a line this morning on the OPK maybe you are going to ovulate tomorrow. When do you normally?
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Smurfette: last cycle it was cd18. I'm cd19 now... I'm hopeful I'll have a fade in pattern and O in the next couple of days.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@sslm: A line on the oPK is a good thing!! And you're not that far off when you usually O, so it's probably coming. I Od CD15, then CD16, and then not til CD22 or 23 this cycle so don't lose hope!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@sslm: But it's the elusive OPK line!! Don't be bummed - it's coming!!
My temp nosedived this morning, so I'm probably going to be out today or tommorow. But no cramps. Very weird- it's been years since I had no cramps before AF.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Grace: Here's hoping... But from I heard a light line on an opk means nothing? Sorry about your temp!! Your chart is a big bitch! I really thought you'd get a BFP.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@JoJoGirl: I guess only time will tell! I hope the light line is a good sign but everyone says it means nothing!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@sslm: Well, I'm not one to talk to about OPKs, 'cause the most I've ever gotten was a light line. But I've noticed that I can get a light line around O-time, and always stark white when it's not O-time.
Haha, yes it is. I didn't have much hope after a BFN at 13dpo, so I'm just glad it's not teasing me anymore.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
UGH! Today is CD 16 and my temps rose today, however, I have not had EWCM or the need to BD 20x a day or a positive OPK like I normally do. I'm so frustarted. I use to O in CD 17 but wouldn't I have gotten a positive OPK if I was going to O tomorrow?
Is it possible to not O during a cycle?
@JenniMac @sslm I sooo want to be TWW buddies and I so want to get this show on the road. I feel so stuck between grieving a MC and TTC I want to move fully into TTC. I'm not giving up hope yet and will continue doing the baby dance in hopes of ovulation.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@alison206: Are you BD around now anyways? If your bases are covered, then all is well, no? As for all the signs that you normally get, you could just be having a wacky month, but it doesn't mean that O didn't happen. Or, today's temp could be a fluke and you are still waiting to O. Hang in there!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@alison206: Sorry things are confusing. It's certainly possible to ovulate without ewcm!
