Well, I don't know about POAS-ing, but I had a pregnancy blood test today, so I'm waiting with you ladies! I'm CD56 and tests are negative, and I'm not even sure that I've ovulated yet, so if my blood comes back negative, I'll test again around July 14!

@alison206: I've never even seen EWCM! Just keep testing and try not to fret! Your body might be still regulating after the MC and not o'ing the same time every month.

So I took another OPK this afternoon and the line was lighter, so I am not optimistic. Stupid tests. I think I'll just stick to temping from now on.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@sslm: i had that same conversation with myself two weeks ago. Damn things.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Jennimac: What's even more frustrating is that yesterday I had a ton of ewcm and today I have none, yet, no temp rise and no + opk, so no ovulation. UGGGGHHHHH.

Welp, I'm out. AF is here. But I'm feeling hopeful because I'll be back on Clomid for the next two cycles. Good luck to everyone else.. hope there are some BFPs for you all!

@sslm: double frustrating!!!!!!!! I'm not temping right now, so I was just going on CM and my o pain. We will see. I almost bought some digital ovulation sticks, but then I saw how expensive they were and I was like, "oh, heck no!!!".
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@loveletter: Sorry AF arrived I am so optimistic for you for your next cycles though!!

Right now we're doing the BD every other day but I'd like to go daily till Sunday if possible. Hopefully keeping at it will get the job done! I'm not a fan of the cheapo OPK but I'm too cheap for the pricier ones.

@loveletter: I am sorry!! I hope Clomid does the trick for you next month!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Jennimac: Yeah I have been using the dollar store opks, so at least they weren't pricey, but I can't help but feel like it's a waste of money!!! Temping will have to be enough. We're BD'ing like champs so I am sure all of our bases will be covered whenever my body decides to cooperate...

@SSLM I am with you the eggs are on notice.
We have been BD since last Friday. I should O sometime this weekend, but I am not charting or using OPK. It would personally stress me about too much and then what good what it done. Plus it's our first cycle trying. July 20th couldn't come sooner.
pomelo / 5073 posts
@sslm: There you go!!!!! We BD 3 nights in a row because that worked best for our schedule. If we could do every other day, we would. I already told Hubby that if it doesn't work, then next month's timing looks like it will work.
If your eggs don't listen, let me know and I'll give them my teacher look!!!!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Jennimac: I might just need to take you up on that!!! Nothing this morning. We are on a 2 days on, 1 day off schedule right now. It's getting a bit tiring lol.

Hi all! I *think* I'm 7dpo today (going by OPKs, not my wonky chart). My temp did go up again today which is exciting - first month charting so sort of fun to see it rise

Hey girls. I think I need to step away from this thread and hellobee until I ovulate. I'm getting too immersed in everything TTC and I think it's affecting my daily life!! hopefully I'll O soon and be back in a few days
Good luck everyone!!!

@JoJoGirl: So funny that we get so excited about a little temp jump!!
@sslm: I hope you will be back soon!

@Smurfette: Seriously! I put in fake data for the first few days of my cycle on FF so it would give me crosshairs, hopefully they are right!
@sslm: Hope you O soon!

So I had my doctors appointment yesterday and it was a little disappointing. I got bloodwork to test for PCOS, if it comes back positive my Dr. thinks I should start on Clomid. But if it comes back negative her solution was just to wait until my cycles regulate then start using the clearblue fertility monitor and TTC. I honestly wasn't really happy with that response since there was no time limit attached, but I guess for now I just have to wait for the results, which could take a couple weeks.
What's most frustrating about this for me is there is almost no information available about having short menstral cycles and what that means for fertility. And I think all ovulation predictors aren't meant to be used with irregular cycles. So it's like people in my category are just forgotten and looked over, it feels really lonely

@loveletter: Sorry to hear you're out! *hugs*
@sslm: Hope you O soon!
@Modern Daisy: TTC is already frustrating, stressful, and confusing enough on it's own. Sorry that yours has even more factors to deal with! Hope you get more solid answers soon.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@Modern Daisy: I'm sorry you are frustrated. I'm trying to remember and you are shortly of BC aren't you (sorry, if I'm confusing you with someone else)? I've heard that it can take 6 months to regulate.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@sslm - I'm right there with you. Still waiting and hating my cheap OPK. Hopefully you'll be back soon and we can be TWW buddies with @Jennimac (assuming I O).
On the bright side if this month is not our month (which I'm not feeling optimistic) next month would be the perfect teacher time to get pregnant. I'm going to buy the Clearblue Digital for next month.

@Grace: @loveletter: boo AF! So sorry, ladies
How is everyone else feeling today?
I think i'm around 9 DPO (i counted wrong last week!) and My BBs feel like they weigh 5o lbs and have been sore for 6 days now, still bloated, crazy dreams, cramps, fluttering and it's been getting harder and harder to get out of bed this week.
I caved and took a cbe today = BFN. That's what I get for testing early!
anyone feeling "different" this week?
pear / 1786 posts
@sylvie_b: Ooohhh, your symptoms sound promising!
I'm feeling as normal (no symptoms) as I think I could possibly feel. But I think I'm only 6 DPO.

@Modern Daisy: My cycles were still very short 5 months after stopping BC (like 21-23 days). I talked to my Dr. and she ran some tests. My thyroid was high & my FSH was borderline high. My age (36), the FSH, and the short cycles were a little concerning. We waited two more cycles to see how long they were then she put me on Clomid. It did help me ovulate later and lengthened my luteal phase! My last cycles have been 26 & 27 days. I hope you get some answers & your Dr. is responsive.

@kentuckygirl: thanks, lady! I'm crossing my fingers for you too....July feels like a lucky month

8dpo! I'm doing my best not to be hopeful or symptom spot so won't even post them (but mostly I have none). My mentality at this point is to assume it's never going to happen hope you ladies with symptoms get bpfs soon!!!!
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
I'm just stopping in to say that I've still been reading along and silently cheering for y'all! I've got my fingers and toes crossed for all of you to see some BFPs very soon!!!

@sylvie_b: I'm holding strong on waiting until my blood test on Tuesday, but I want to POAS so bad! I'm 6 days after my embryo transfer (and technically 11DPO) and they say that the HCG starts entering the bloodstream today (for IVF patients). I'm starting to notice some slight cramping and am hoping that is a good sign!
Best wishes to you and hope the TWW goes by quickly!

@GreenThumb: I've been popping into this thread and following your story. I just wanted to send you tons of sticky baby dust and wishing you all the best. I can't wait to hear the update on Tuesday!! I can't believe you're staying so strong to not test, you go girl!!!

So another update ladies, i used the digital opk's the first time this cycle with FMU and bam! A smiley face!!! On cd12! 2 days earlier than i was expecting too!
No O cramps, but there was some cm yesterday, it wasn't ewcm but it was stretchy. I swear my body just loves to play games with me...
I'm not complaining tho, it just means i get to poas earlier than i thought

Hi, ladies!
Right now I'm 5 dpo and trying not to symptom spot. I'm actually doing better than I thought. Right now I've been having period-like cramps and creamy CM, but I'm really not reading too much into that. One thing that I've noticed is my boobs are still leaking some milk. : / Totally weird. I haven't had that since my milk dried up 3 months ago. Don't really think it means anything, but weird all the same.
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
@Jennimac: I refuse to read into that, but it surely is strange. Fingers crossed!
