Oooooo, my eyes are buggin out of my head!!! I'd be freaking out too. Stay up temps, stay up!!

If you want the voice of reason (which is a lot less fun, btw), I will point out that your temps also got that high last month and you also had a dip in temps (around 6 dpo). But I'm still excited for you!!!!!

@Smurfette: @Grace: @JoJoGirl: @jholler25: @Alivoo01: Oh my gosh, girls, I'm totally freaking out! I'm glad you're all seeing what I'm seeing!!! I MAY not be able to hold out until June 30th, but I'm going to at least wait until Saturday (12 DPO). But remember, all my HPT have expired, so even if I do see a BFP, I won't believe it until I go buy new ones, hahaha! I'm trying sooooooo hard not to get my hopes up, but it's really hard with my chart looking so good!!!!

@Adira: How long is your LP usually? Your chart looks very promising--it could definitely go tri-phasic from that jump. I'd be dying to temp the next couple days to see what happens. Sending buckets of baby juju your way!!

I woke up to some spotting when I wipe so I think Diablo is finally on it's way! I've been feeling it for the past two days.
I think my positive OPK was probably a false positive since it was clear back on CD17 and I'm now on CD42. LP's aren't normally any longer than 16 days from what I've read and been told by my nurse friends and even if it is longer it's unlikely it's 24 days. So, I am betting I O'd way later than I thought and we didn't get preg since we stopped BD shortly after the positive.
And to add to my 'happiness' my oldest daughter has lice and we had to treat everyone and now the clean up throw out phase begins. Just BLAH!

@oliviaoblivia: @Mrs. Blue: My LP is usually 13 days, so AF is due on Monday. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to hold out until June 30th to test like I had planned. Part of me wants to in case I have an early miscarriage (or I'm not even pregnant) so that I can give AF time to just show up and not get overly excited. But the other part of me REALLY WANTS TO TEST!!!!!! I'm DEFINITELY going to wait until at least this Saturday (June 23) and if my temps are still up, I might end up testing. But I'll be testing with an expired test so... if it's a BFN, I'll wait until AF shows up or the 30th. And if it's a BFP, I'll go buy a new test and test on Sunday, hahaha.

@Crisark: Wow, it's ABOUT TIME that Diablo is showing her face! I think you're right though that you probably O'd later and your OPKs gave you some false information. But I don't really know that much about LPs, so I can't say for sure. Hopefully your cycle isn't as long next month and you have some better luck! And also... sorry about the lice situation. I remember having lice when I was a kid and dealing with it sucked!

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@Adira: You were planning to wait until AF was a week late to test??

  26. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@Grace: hahaha, yes! My reason being that I'd rather test on the weekend than during the week! Regardless of the result, I know that I will be emotional and I'd rather deal with those emotions at home! I could have planned to test this weekend (around 12 DPO), but since all my tests are expired, I figured I should just wait until AF was late to test. In the past, I've preferred to just have AF show up than see a BFN.

@Adira: Thanks! It's not the best day to be around me that's for sure lol I like taking sick days when I'm not really dealing with things and can go have fun not de-lice my house lol

  28. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@Adira: Good lord. I do not have your strength.

@Crisark: OMG, so glad she's finally here! That makes sense about the OPK false positive, I didn't know that could happen! Eek!

  29. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@JoJoGirl: They aren't supposed to since it was the digital but that's the only thing that makes sense. I suppose anything can happen.

  30. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@JoJoGirl: I'm not sure I have my strength either. In the past, I've always gotten an indication around 12 DPO that AF was on her way, so I never really had much of chance to test. But I'm not sure I'll be able to hold out this time if my temps stay high like they currently are!

@Crisark: Do you chart your cervical mucus or check your cervix position at all? I wonder if those would give you a better indication?

  31. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

    @Adira: I don't. I'm kinda a weirdo about that stuff lol
Digital OPK's were supposed to be my fail proof option but nothing is fail proof.

  32. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@Crisark: haha, I know what you mean - it can be kind of gross, and if you're squeamish at all, it probably isn't pleasant. I was just thinking that if OPKs weren't working for you, maybe something else would.

  33. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@Adira: I think we will be adopting the every other day method and just have fun. I have no desire to freak out constantly. I nearly lost it yesterday.

  34. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@Crisark: I think the every other day method is wise. My husband and I had to switch back to that, because even though I'm pretty regular, trying to have sex everyday was a struggle for us. Every other day allowed us to relax a bit more and not stress about it as much, while still covering a good portion of the cycle.

  35. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@Adira: Yep. He liked the OPK's but they are expensive and not always right from what I can tell now so I think we are better to just enjoy each other.

  36. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@Crisark: I think that's a very good plan! I hope that it works out for you!

@Adira: Thank you! I'm so excited for you to test!

  38. Adira

@Crisark: T-9 days to test! (Or... more likely... T-2 days, haha)

  39. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

    @Adira: lol so exciting!

  40. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@Crisark: It probably wasn't a false positive. You can have multiple LH surges because your body can gear up to ovulate and then not do it.
