@Arden: Ugh, I had that happen. I've noticed the longer I've been charting that my LP is anywhere from 12-14 days. Don't know if it changes, or if FF gets O day wrong. It's frustrating. I feel for you!

I'm out.
I knew mentally that I probably wouldn't get pregnant the first cycle, but it's still really tough. Awful cramps don't help.

@mrsdoily: That sucks that you have to stop, and I'm ao sorry about the past miscarriages. How devestating! DH also had some freak out moments when we were gearing up to TTC. I think that it just takes a lot of guys more time to get adjusted to the idea. What finally made it click for DH was when I gave up and agreed to just wait longer until the time DH wanted to start. I know this wording isn't for everyone, but I was crying and told him even though it hurt me and I didn't agree, I would submit to him on this issue because I trust him to lead our family in a way that's not just best for him, but best for all of us. I was SO upset and was teary for a couple days. Seeing how much it hurt me but that I agreed to his timeline made him decide we should compromise. I know everyone and every situation is different, but I think my conveying that to him made him feel like he had some control in the situation and that he wasn't on a ride he couldn't stop. Sorry for the novel, but I have been there and know how much it can hurt! Also, sorry for any typos--I'm writing this on my phone while at Disney World. See how much I care?!?!

I'm out. AF showed today, which was strange because it means my LP was only 11 days, I guess my body is messed up from my mc! Anyway I can be positive about my 29 day cycle since that's by far the shortest ever!
Good luck ladies, I hope we start to get more positive news on this thread!!!
@Arden: Sorry I guess we'll be together on the July thread!!!
pomelo / 5073 posts
@sslm: I'm sorry friend! Yay for shortest cycle, though! We will be together on the next TWW.
@Arden: I'm sorry. The awful cramps seem like overkill, too. I remember my first cycle post-MC and it was just like my delivery when it started. I was, really?!!!!?
@Mrs. Blue: you are awesome! In Disney world and still checking in!

@Lilteacherbee Ahhhhhh, congrats, so exciting!!!
@Arden and @Sslm I'm sorry I know how much that sucks, I'm really really hoping next month is your guys' month! Sslm, that is awesome that your cycle was shorter and I've read that anything over 10 days for the LP is fine, so wouldn't worry about it! Plus, it's possible the O date was off by a bit so...

@lilteacherbee: Congratulations!!! So excited for you!!!
@Arden and @Sslm: Boo - I'm sorry you ladies are out. @Arden - I remember my first cycle I was soooooo disappointed when AF showed up. I knew it was unlikely to get pregnant so quickly, but it's hard not to get hopeful that first cycle!
I'm 5 DPO today. I feel like the TWW is going to last forever. Plus I hate watching my temps - I always end up reading too much into them even though I know it doesn't mean anything because my temps have done everything from fluxuate widly during the TWW to be very steady. Ugh.

@Arden: @sslm: oh man im so sorry you guys!!!!! Ugh what a bummer. Agree with Adira, in some ways AF the first cycle was the worst. Here's to BFPs for you both next month!
@lil- YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
@adira: so exciting! Hang in there, you're already halfway through the TWW!

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm out. BFN today at 12 DPO. AF is due Monday & I'm starting to feel like she is on her way to visit :(. Good luck to everyone else!

@Mrs. Blue: You totally and utterly rock! Thank you!
@kentuckygirl: I also had a BFN this morning at 12 dpo and diablo is also due on Monday. I'm starting to get uber gassy which is usually my sign that AF is about to gear up. Sigh.

My TTC fail of the day: we were so tired tonight after two days of Disney World, that DH and I decided it would feel great to pop in the hot tub. Only when we got out did it click that DH shouldn't be in a hot tub right now. My only comfort is it wasn't super hot water, just warm.

CD 40/21DPO and just over it.
I really don't belong on any of the POAS boards right now.
I really thought it was going to regulate but I guess it was just wishful thinking.
I think I'm going to just withdraw for a while.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Crisark: Oh man I'm so sorry. Have you talked to your doc about the super long cycles? How many months have you been off the mirena (right?)?
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@JoJoGirl: I had it removed on Feb 15th. Had withdraw bleeding 3 days later. March I spotted a couple days and that was it. April I had a 36 day cycle and my May cycle is on day 40. I may not even have a June cycle at this rate.
They said I have to miss 3 months in a row before we do any blood tests. If I'm still struggling I'm going to make an appt in Sept cause that would be 6 months.
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@JoJoGirl: It's alright. I think my biggest frustration is that I've felt like AF would be coming and still nothing. I've never had cycles like this before.
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@sslm: Thanks.
You ladies are so awesome. But, every month so far I've been the downer at the end. I'm tired of not "fitting in" anywhere. But, that's just the deal right now.

@Crisark: I am sorry! I hope you figure out what is going on soon.
@Alivoo01: Sorry!! Hopefully July will be all of our month!
cherry / 144 posts
@crisark - sorry, I know it must be SO frustrating! My last two cycles I had a 23 day LP, and O'd usually around CD22... which is a really long 45 day cycle!! I thought for sure that I was pregnant both times and then when I wasn't, I thought I was just totally weird and I had no idea what was wrong with me. Just think of it as a good thing that your LP is long and not super short?
grapefruit / 4187 posts
@Crisark: I'm really sorry I hear you on the frustration. I stopped taking the pill in March and had a 64 day cycle, then a 21 day cycle. So I really have no idea what's going on and I also feel like I'm in limbo
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Crisark: I don't think you don't fit in! When I went off the pill I had a 35 day cycle, then 46, then 46, then 58, then I got pregnant, mc'd, didn't get my period for 10 weeks, and now just had a 29 day cycle. What a mind fuck (excuse my language). The female body is just so damn confusing.
pomegranate / 3398 posts
@Emilie: Wow! I'm sorry you are in the same boat but I'm glad I'm not alone. I guess I could be counting my blessing for a long LP I guess. I got a positive digital OPK on the 26th so I thought maybe I'd have a regular cycle. I was wrong.
@Modern Daisy: Oh my a 64 day cycle? That's so long! I've never experienced anything like this. I hope your cycles regulate soon!
@sslm: Holy cow! I had no idea so many of us were dealing with the same thing. It's just nothing I've ever been through.
And it is for sure frustrating.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
So I'm thinking I may not be pregnant, although I know it's too early to tell (8 DPO today), but my temps have been steadily going down slowly, so I'm thinking that's probably not a good sign. In the last four days, they've gone down from 97.54 to 97.46, so I'm thinking that's not a good sign.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Adira: sorry about the decreasing temps! how long is your LP usually? If it's longer, I wouldn't worry too much, still lots of time to see a jump! And how close are you to cover line?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@sslm: My LP is usually 13 days, so I still have 5 more days to see what my temps do. And I'm still well above my coverline, which is 97.19. I've just never seen my temps fall like this before - usually they fluctuate up and down, never just fall slowly. But it's still early, so I guess things can change. I just don't have a great feeling about it.
