Kiddo is 6 months and still drooling a TON. We have the Gerber bibs that have the plastic backing but they aren't big enough to reach around his neck any longer. His nice A&A Muslim bibs don't really do a good job. Anyone else have any suggestions? I really hope his tooth comes in soon!

I found that Green Sprouts bibs worked the best for my son. He was a drooling machine for months, and the bibs held up very well. It stays wet on the front and dry on the back.

One more thing -- my son is 10 months old and still wearing the same stage 2/3 Green Sprout bibs.

Carter's makes HUGE bibs (I think for eating) that are relatively waterproof (they are terry but don't soak through very easily, I think they have a plastic layer) and they come in sets of 3. I just bought RJ two more packs. He is a crazy drooler-- at 2 years old!! he goes through at least 2 bibs a day. oh and the bibs close with a snap, not velcro-- much better for older kids who can pull them off!
