I am about to order a snowsuit/pram for LO from a store in The UK and the size says "100" which is referring to 18m-24m.
I know my clothing from overseas tends to run much smaller than US sizes, so I am wondering if that is the same for baby clothing?
My son is 15m, but can fit 18m clothing and can certainly grow into 24m by the end of the winter. That is assuming their chart is correct in saying that "100" =18-24m. I have no idea what 100 is measuring.

My experience from the UK has been the opposite. LO is usually one size up in Carter's ie, he's 14 mo now but in 18m and 24t Carter's.
In the UK brands, George, tesco, mothercare etc he wears his actual age. -
@wheres_c: Its mothercare brand! Thank you! Lo is 15m and also weating 18m in Carter's. So...I should go for the 12m-18m? He will be 17m / 17.5m when he is done with the snowsuit.

Opposite. UK baby sizing runs about a size larger, in general. I do think Mothercare is pretty true to size though.

I find Mothercare to run HUGE! My 19 month old easily wears their 6-9 or 9-12 month sizes. I always thought 80 was 1-1.5 yrs, 90 was more 1.5-2/2.5, and 100 was more suited to 2-3 year olds.

The 100 refers to centimeters in length- well height really. I've never found that Mothercare ran particularly big. I just bought Linus some 24-36 month onesies and they are marked for up to 98cm. They are great. He's 23 months and average size.

Like pp mentioned, UK sizing is equivalent to length in cm. my suggestion is to ignore the age they list on the sizes and go only by the actual size in cm and compare it to your LO's last well visit measure. That's what I do and I find it a lot less confusing.
But 100 sounds big. DD wears a size 86 and measured 83 cm in her last appointment. She's almost 19 months old. Most size 92 pants are too big for her. With cardigans, it works, but pants are just too big. There's no way she can wear a size 100 any time soon. But shes a little small for her age. Hope this helps!
Eta: I just checked a growth calculator and she's apparently avg, not small for her age

I'm glad other bees have answered this for you because I have never heard of baby clothes being sized by height (and I'm in the UK!).
