You know, as scary as it is, that doesn't surprise me. Your LO is at a great age! Mine is 5 months old and so much fun. If you told me at a week postpartum that I would be warming up to the idea of having another one so soon I would have laughed in your face.
What would your husband think about having another one soon-ish?

@krsmall: Oh, wow! Our LOs are the same age and while I'm warming up the idea, I told myself to wait until DD is 2 years old to try. That's so exciting for you guys, though! Here's hoping it happens quickly after you start trying

@meredithNYC: I think we would both freak out a little bit due to the chaos that would be our life, but he would be totally thrilled if we got pregnant now. He knew he would love to be a dad, but I don't think he knew quite how much he would love our little girl!

haha kind of!! I love the idea of another LO and if I was older, had finished school and we were more financially ready - I would totally be okay with 2 under 2! DS is 8 months old

That's when I started getting baby fever too!!! But we held off until LO was 14-15 months because we wanted to bypass the holiday months and we didn't want 2 under 2. It was tough, but I'm glad we waited.

@meredithNYC: I just turned 34 so unfortunately the clock is ticking for me so the plan was to pretty much have back to back babies. At first I wasn't sure but DS is soo much fun, I definitely want another baby!

Our friend that had early twins (born at 22 weeks I think) had them in the NICU for months. When we went to visit them a month after both girls finally came home (I think it was around 5-6 months) she already had baby fever for #3!

LO is almost 7 months and I'm there. But, I feel like it's this crazy drive and I am in no place emotionally or physically to do this all again! I don't get it--I had a horrible, super sick pregnancy, I was overdue and so angry about it, LO had horrible colic for the first 4 months and screamed non-stop, and so many other not fun things--WHY do I want to do that all again right now?! Oh yeah, because she's adorable and I love her so much We're still going to wait until she's at least a year to start trying again, though.
